Bilingual pre-school:

Active learning:

PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) methodology is based on active learning. Children learn through observation, personal experience and exploration. Play is essential. Children learn ideas through play and while they are having fun they progressively acquire knowledge of the physical and social world. Safe environments, appropriate materials, equipment and role models, planned and appropriate outdoor environments, carefully planned curriculum make children enjoy learning.

Organizing the classroom:
The classroom is a busy place where children observe and explore different areas set up by the teachers. Children manipulate different objects in the prepared environment. When they arrive, children are grouped together, this is a group time. After, children can move into different areas of choice. They may be working on their own or with other children or in a small group with a teacher.

The classroom is divided into areas of focus:
- Group time
- Art
- Workshop
- Sensorial
- Language
- Practical life
- Culture & Science
- Math

Weekly English Language classes for primary school children:
Weekly English Language classes are held at our Paris office. Classes are 1.5 hours long, and take place after school, on Wednesdays or on Saturdays. Children develop therein their reading and writing skills in English. Starting in CE1, the methodology integrates the "Reading & Writing" approach, which introduces children to reading and writing in English in an age-sensitive way, taking into account the child’s current reading and writing skills. At the CP level, the methodology remains restricted to "Listening & Speaking", so as not to interfere with the child's learning of reading and writing in French. PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) prepares children for the Cambridge Young Learners exam, of which PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) is a partner.

Total English Immersion:
Every Wednesday (Paris and Boulogne) and Saturday (Paris), total English immersion workshops are organized to raise language awareness and improve accuracy and fluency in English for very young learners. Workshops are supervised by an Anglophone teacher. Activities include language learning, singing, poems, role plays and arts and crafts. These workshops are open to PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) children as well as to students of other preschool establishments in Paris, whose parents want to increase their children’s language awareness at an early stage. Your child can take part in a 3 hour workshop (morning or afternoon), or stay all day long.

English lessons for young learners (middle school and high school):
PEB (Pre-Elementary Bilingual School) offers classes for middle school and high school students in Paris. Classes are taught exclusively by native Anglophone teachers. They take place at 123 avenue de Versailles in Paris, and they act as a supplement to classes taught in the Education Nationale public education system.
