LOCHES possesses a large number of historic monuments which has led it to be classified as one of the most beautiful detours in France : the Royal Lodge, the feudal fortress, the royal gate, the Church of Saint-Ours, the ramparts, the old houses, the Tower of Saint-Antoine, the house of the painter Emmanuel Lansyer, the troglodyte caves.

How to get to Loches ?

By train:
From Paris “Gare de Montparnasse” take a TGV train and stop at St Pierre des Corps station 55 minutes later. The family or a member of the school will collect you there.
By bus:
From Tours Bus Station (opposite the railway station), departure times on request.

By car:
* Paris/Tours Motorway: get out at exit #18 AMBOISE - CHATEAU-RENAULT.
Then follow direction LOCHES.
Inside Loches, follow direction motorway A10.
* Coming from Route Nationale 143, south of TOURS, follow direction Loches 42 Kms.

If you ask for a transfer, your host family or a member of the School will be waiting for you at the Railway Station in St Pierre des Corps, but ONLY if you give all the details before arrival (Time and Date of arrival). They will also take you back to the station on departure.
