Phorms Education in Hamburg, Northern Germany is an international school offering whole-day bilingual education in German and English. We currently offer nursery school and primary school programs for children from pre-school age up to Year 4. Our school was founded in 2008, making it the most recent Phorms School to be established. It offers a family atmosphere characterised by the high degree of mutual respect which exists between our staff, students and parents.

Nursery School (Ages 3 - 5):
We use our nursery school to prepare children in a play-based manner for the teaching and learning which takes place at primary school. Our activities are aimed at five year old’s in the year before they begin school.
We take a holistic approach towards a daily routine in which the children gain experience in learning together and in organising themselves. We pay particular attention to personal skills development in such areas as holding a pen, working autonomously, concentration, logical thinking, reading and an understanding of numbers.
Teaching predominantly takes place in English according to the immersion method in order to ensure that the children are fully prepared to enter Year 1 of primary school. One of the childcare specialists for each group speaks (almost) entirely in English. This enables the children to learn the language within a natural daily context.
Primary School (Grades 1 - 4):
The curriculum of our private school taught is based on the outline curriculum of the federal state of Hamburg. We also use the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) in the subjects English, mathematics and science. Our students are taught bilingually according to the immersion concept (German-English).

Founded in 2000 by the state government of Berlin, Nelson Mandela School is an international comprehensive school in Berlin, providing quality bilingual education in grades 1-13 to children from a wide variety of backgrounds. Berlin British School (BBS) is an independent, international English-speaking school for children ages 3 to 18 years, centrally located on three sites in the borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, serving the international community of Berlin-Brandenburg. The school accepts applications for admission at any time in the academic year and any level of entry except at the start of or during Year 11 (10th Grade) and 13 (12th Grade).The academic programme at BBS is based on the English National Curriculum and prepares students for the IGCSE and the IB Diploma. Both qualifications are recognised and respected in Germany, as well as internationally. The pass rate for IGCSE and IB is almost 100%, which reflects the high academic standards of the school.
