Campus Berlin Mitte is a bilingual, private and international school in the central district of Mitte in the heart of Berlin, Germany. Established in 2006, we offer whole-day education in German and English to over 500 students in our Nursery, Primary and Secondary School. We teach children and young people to understand the world in all its cultural and linguistic diversity, local characteristics and global contexts.

Curriculum:
Our students are taught bilingually according to the immersion concept (German-English). We follow the German curriculum of the Federal State Of Berlin and international curricula: the “Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum” at Nursery, the Cambridge International Primary Programme (CIPP) in the subjects English, mathematics and science at Primary and the Advanced Placement Programme at Secondary School. At the end of their career, students may get the Advanced Placement International Diploma, the German MSA and the German Abitur.
Students who have been learning in a bilingual environment for many years perform at an above-average level in foreign languages, in their own mother tongue and in other subjects. Bilingualism promotes the cognitive development of children in such areas as awareness of language, creativity and flexible thinking.
Most of the teaching at our primary school takes place in English. Teachers deliver the lesson content at native speaker level in accordance with the immersion method. This means that teaching staff speak in the foreign language at all times, which pictures, gestures and symbols being used to support student understanding. This enables the children to learn a foreign language in a play-based manner and in a completely natural way within a wide range of contexts.
Our secondary school continues the bilingual concept introduced at nursery school and primary school. Teaching takes place in accordance with the immersion method, which means that all content is delivered exclusively in either German or English. Our secondary school students have no difficulty in following specialist content taught in English and are also able to discuss, write and give presentations in the English language.
We offer large classrooms with corners for reading, playing and experiments, interactive whiteboards with internet access and learning software, modern wireless laptops, a large music room with instruments; two brand-new gyms with a modern action centre, a library with student PC access and two laboratories.
Opening Hours:
Our school is open from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. Before and after the lessons, students may attend our day care centre with an exciting afternoon programme. We also offer a comprehensive holiday programme.

Conveniently situated in the Spandau area to the west of Berlin, International School Villa Amalienhof (ISVA) is a day school which follows the National Curriculum of England and Wales and the Berliner Rahmenlehrplan. H.I.S. is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School that has been serving the needs of the international and local communities within the Rhine-Neckar region in the northwest of Baden-Württemberg since September 2002. We are a not-for-profit, independent, co-educational day school for students from Early Primary 1 (age 4) to Grade 12. The curriculum is international and the language of instruction is English.
H.I.S. is conveniently located near the centre of Heidelberg and is easily accessible by car or public transportation from Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Karlsruhe.

Located in Gross Flottbek, in the Altona district of northwest Hamburg in northern Germany, the International School Hamburg is a co-educational day school for Primary 1 (age 3) to Grade 12. The school was founded in 1957 as the first international school in Germany and offers an early childhood program, junior and senior school with programs taught primarily in English, the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, a special needs department and English as a Second Language.The International School Hamburg has been offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) since 1979. The Frankfurt International School (FIS), located just outside of Frankfurt and founded in 1961, is an independent, co-educational day school, which offers an educational program for students of all nationalities. Frankfurt International School (FIS) together with the International School Wiesbaden (ISW) is the largest and second oldest international school in Germany. The school is organized into four school divisions: the Primary Division age 3 to Grade 1, the Elementary Division Grades 2-5, and the Upper School Grades 6-12, all of which are in Oberursel.
The International School Wiesbaden (ISW) operates as a branch of FIS at a separate campus in Wiesbaden for students age 3 to Grade 8.
FIS is recognised as an allgemein bildende Ergänzungsschule. It is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School and a founding member of the Organisation.
There are currently almost 1800 students from 55 different countries attending FIS and ISW, including roughly 30% American, 19% German, 8% British, 4% Japanese,and 12% Korean. It employs over 300 well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff from almost 30 different countries.
