Located in Portland, Oregon, Oregon Episcopal School (OES) is an independent school offering a college-preparatory day and boarding program for students in kindergarten through 12th Grade. Boarding / Upper School Programs (Grades 9-12)
At OES, learning from day one is active, not passive. Students don’t just study science – they do it. They don’t just read great writers, they write – and write, and write. They don’t just listen to teachers, they ask questions.

Each experience leads to the next one, always driven primarily by the passion and persistence of the student who serves, in effect, as the architect of his or her education.

A “Diploma” signifies completion of the course and other requirements below (20.5 minimum total) and is awarded to qualifying students. Unless special permission is given, students need to be enrolled in five or six classes each semester.

Minimum Course Requirements Include:
- English 4 credits (includes 9th grade Humanities)
- Language 2 credits in one language (through 2nd-year course)
- Mathematics 3 credits (at least through Advanced Algebra)
- Science 2 credits (Physics, Biology)
- History 2 credits (Humanities, U.S. History)
- Philosophy & Religion 1 credit (two semester courses)
- Arts 2 credits
- Physical Education 1/2 credit  (2 1/2 credits if no sport included)
- Health 1/2 credit
- Electives 3.5 credits

Activities:
Freshmen are required to participate in an activity each term; Sophomores and Juniors are required to participate in one or more activities during the course of the year. Seniors are encouraged, but not required, to participate.

Advanced Placement Courses:
OES offers Advanced Placement courses in nine subjects:
- French Language and Literature,
- Spanish Language and Literature,
- Calculus AB and BC,
- Statistics (offered in alternate years),
- Computer Science
- US History.

Of these courses, Calculus AB and BC, Statistics, Computer Science III (AB), and US History require the exam. Many OES students take the English Language and English Literature examinations with good success, even though English classes are not designated as AP.

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Oregon and across the United States.

In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).

TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.

We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

We are a small program (40 students) which means that we are able to provide a truly unique and customized approach for every student.

Typically our on site student to staff ratio is 5:1. The average stay at our residential treatment center is 12 months.

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.

TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
Clearview Horizon School for Girls

Clearview Horizon School for Girls is a therapeutic boarding school designed for girls between the ages of 13 to 21 years. We are located in Sandpoint in Bonner County, Idaho, set in the beautiful Montana mountains.

Clearview is for girls who are struggling with self-esteem, motivation, purpose, the influence of a negative peer environment, recreational drug use, an eating disorder, or some other destructive behavioral pattern.

Through our unique Christian-based program, students find the strength to overcome their disorders. Students attend school, receive tutoring when necessary, and participate in after school activities.

Delphian School is a premiere, private, international, non-religious, co-educational day and boarding school in the U.S. located in the Pacific Northwest on 800 acres of Oregon's scenic Willamette Valley (about 1 hour southwest of Portland OR, and 4 hours drive south of Seattle, Washington).

The Academy at Sisters, Bend

Located just south of Bend, Oregon at the base of the Three Sisters Mountains, The Academy at Sisters is a small and exclusive therapeutic boarding school for at risk young women ages 13-18.

We provide treatment and academic services for girls who have put themselves in dangerous situations such as playing truant, drug and alcohol abuse, and are beyond parental control.

The length of stay is one year to 18 months. Our academic program is an integral part of our treatment program, varied and challenging, making us the leading Oregon Boarding School for at-risk girls. We teach students to learn from the past, plan for the future, and live responsibly in the present.

The Academy at Sisters Oregon boarding school operates on two campuses. Our Lodge Campus is the setting for the first phase of the girls´ placement and offers a therapeutic environment.
