Our academic program consists of the normal subjects such as English, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc. We also provide a balanced education by exposing the students to the fine arts, such as drawing and music. Being a Christian school, we mandate that students take classes that would broaden their understanding of the Bible and the role it plays in their lives. We also provide students opportunities to use technology in and out of the classroom to prepare them for the digital world. Physical fitness and health are essential to the students' well being and are mandatory classes for them. As you can see, the School wants to provide a "comprehensive" education for the student.

A variety of Advance Placement courses are taught at the high school level.

Academic Year Structure:
The academic program is organized on a period schedule. The school year consists of two semesters. A maximum load per semester is 30 units per semester with students carrying five or six 50 minute classes. Students meet for 6 periods on a regular school day.

A minimum of 220 units is required for graduation. 35 units = 1 semester; 70 units = 1 year. Graduation requirements include: 40 units (4 years) English; 40 units (4 years) mathematics; 40 units (4 years) science; 30 units (3 years) social studies; 20 units (2 years) physical education; 30 units (3 years) foreign language; 10 units (1 year) fine arts; 10 units (varies per year) elective courses.

ESL Program:

We strive to make your experience in San Francisco and the United States both educational and highly productive. ESL instruction offers students many opportunities to become involved with the local culture through volunteer activities and/or sports organizations.  We feel it is just as important to make American friends and we try to provide as many opportunities for that to happen.
