Our childcare programs are designed to give your child a solid academic foundation. In a stimulating environment, the small class size will encourage your child to learn and interact. Each class is tailored for your child’s specific age. We maintain a six to one ratio (children / teacher) in our toddler classes (18 months), and a 12 to one ratio in all preschool classrooms. This enables each child to get the personal and individual attention they need to succeed.

At First School of the Desert, we recognize the child's family as a necessary partner in the education process. We work with parents to build a strong academic, developmental, and social foundation for their children. All activities at our school are exciting learning experiences. While our students are achieving their developmental and academic goals, they are having fun while they learn.

Enrollment Age:
First School La Quinta starts enrollment of children as young as 18 months and teaches and cares for children through their pre-kindergarten years.

Schedules:
We provide part-weekly as well as full-time care. At First School La Quinta you have the choice of a two day (Tuesday & Thursday) schedule, three day (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) schedule or five day (Monday through Friday) schedule. We open our La Quinta facility at 6:30 am and close at 6:00 pm Monday through Friday 12 months out of the year.
