History:

Photo of Preschool / Child Care in Visalia, CAVillage Pre-school, established in 1996, had its roots in the Orange County area over forty years ago. In 1960, Louise Villeneuve began by owning and operating two centers in that area. As a result of her commitment to young children, along with a fine early childhood education curriculum, “Village South” has enjoyed well over forty years of prosperity. Mrs. Villeneuve’s daughter, Carol Passmore, had dreamed of owning her own preschool for many years. In 1996, that dream became a reality for her right here in Visalia. "Village North" opened it's doors on June 10th, 1996.

Mission:
Village Pre-school strives to provide an enriching and stimulating environment which allows children to reach their maximum potential emotionally, socially, physically, and intellectually.

Philosophy:
We at Village Pre-School are dedicated to providing the finest quality early childhood program that is simply second to none. The teachers and staff at "The Village" are ever mindful of our school mission statement stated above.

Realizing that the early childhood development years are extremely important in shaping the lives of individuals, the staff at "The Village" take our job very seriously. We strive to create situations in which children can develop in an environment full of exploration, rich in exploratory scientific discovery, and full of challenging creative opportunities.

Teddy Bear Tymes Child Care Center is centrally located in San Bernardino in the Riverside-San Bernardino Metropolitan Area. We offer infants, preschool and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years. We are a non-profit corporation established in 1987 by San Bernardino City employees, San Bernardino County employees and CA state employees.

Teddy Bear Tymes provides advanced training in infant-toddler care through our infant / toddler care program which is sponsored by the CA Dept. of Education. Our preschool curriculum is matched to the CA State preschool learning foundations daily, and our kindergarten classes meet state and local school district standards in all curriculum areas. All Teddy Bear Tymes staff are certified and have been fingerprinted and cleared through the Dept. of Justice. They are trained in CPR and First Aid and are registered with community care licensing.

Teddy Bear Tymes Child Care Center serves breakfast, lunch and snack, included in tuition price. All meals are home-cooked and meet Federal Dept. of Agriculture nutritional guidelines for young children. (No “junk” food) We can feed your infant, too. Formula and home-made baby food provided.
Infants, preschool and kindergarten programs for children aged 6 weeks to 7 years - we have both full-time and part-time enrollment options:

Small Fry Dance Club
Courses / Programs
Small Fry Dance Club offers a preschool dance program in Foster City in San Mateo County, CA. Our dance program is designed to give young students a survey style class that covers basics in tap, ballet, jazz, creative movement, and yoga. Our goal is to help each student find a place for dance in their life. No matter what the degree of each child's dance goals, discovering movement should be nothing but empowering. Through dance, Small Fry teaches children to be creative, physically fit, flexible, confident, and artistic.

Small Fry Dance Club was founded by Jana Chapeton in early 2007. We have had 1,000 plus students come through the program at over 20 different schools. We have also been nominated as "Best Dance School" by Best of The Bay TV (2009).

All of our teachers have extensive education and experience teaching dance, performance, and motor skills to preschool and school age students. Twice a year, Small Fry dancers have the chance to participate in our company performances. Our shows are a great chance for the dancers to gain experience performing, while sharing their progress in weekly dance class with friends and family.
