Activities:
The social activities club at SELC is called the Kookaburra Club. We organise all kinds of activities for our students to help them explore Sydney. A great way to practise your English while you have fun!

SELC is located in Bondi Junction in the Eastern Suburbs, which is to the east of the city centre and close to Bondi Beach. It is also next to a very large and ultra-modern shopping mall. Our facilities are constantly being upgraded including the newly opened Virtual Business Office and SELC Theatre/Café room.

There are people from 180 nations, speaking 140 languages, making Sydney one of the most multicultural cities in the world. The city is spread over a large area and has a world-famous harbour, beautiful beaches and interesting things to do. Most of Sydney's 37 beaches are situated within 30 minutes of the city centre by public transport.

SELC's Homestay Program involves Australian families in the Eastern Suburbs. Families are chosen for their high-quality accommodation, friendliness, and interest in people from other cultures. There are 2 types of homestay:

HALF BOARD:

* Private home
* Breakfast and dinner provided each day

ROOM AND FACILITIES:

* Private home
* No meals provided
* Use of all facilities (you can cook in the family's kitchen)

Homestay counselling is available and students are taught Australian customs and English expressions to help them settle into their homes. Homestay is a wonderful way to experience Australian life while studying English!

SELC homestay families:
The SELC Accommodation Department carefully screens all potential homestay providers before placing any students with them.
Families are visited by SELC staff and interviewed. They should fulfil the following criteria:

* live close to the school
* have appropriate accommodation available
* provide a suitable living environment
* demonstrate a willingness to host international students in their home.

Sinclairs of Bondi offers weekly serviced accommodation in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs. Only minutes walking distance from SELC, Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction shops it is close to public transport with easy access to the city centre and harbour.

Sinclairs of Bondi has 50 rooms offering clean affordable accommodation ranging from large family rooms with ensuite to twin/double or single room accommodation.

SELC Lodge Accommodation- Bondi Beach House:
Bondi Beachouse is a conveniently located budget residence only 5 minutes walking distance from Bondi Beach and Tamarama Beach.

Bondi Beachouse has recently been renovated and features the following:
