The Italian Cultural Center, a non-profit organization, sponsors Italian language classes in Chicago, IL for Adults and Children. The Center is ideally and centrally located in the heart of many adjacent Italian communities and also near O'Hare International Airport. The building is located two blocks east of Mannheim Road (Route 45) and two blocks south of North Avenue (Route 64).

Programs:

Adult Italian Language Classes at beginner, intermediate, advanced and advanced conversational levels. Private classes are also available in the evening and on Saturday. Children's classes are held in various locations throughout the Chicagoland area - the year long program runs for 30 weeks (one hour per week).

Our Mission:

"Casa Italia is a home with a common address for all of the Italian-American organizations of the Chicago area. It is a place where we meet to pursue common goals, preserve our past, celebrate our heritage and ensure passage of values to future generations."

The Casa Italia Vision:
- We envision our Cultural Center brimming with books, exhibits, archives and classes devoted to language, art, history, music, travel, genealogy, cuisine and folk traditions.
- We envision our Community Center filled with social and recreational activities for young and old alike, both within our community and the surrounding neighborhoods.
- We envision our Chapel busy with prayer groups, retreats, wedding anniversaries and memorial masses.
- We envision our Office Center teeming with organizations conducting business and assisting other Italian Americans.
- We envision our Banquet Center bustling with lunch and dinner meetings and special events.
- We envision our Festival Center alive with picnics, religious and cultural events, concerts, films and performances.
