Metalwerx School: Established in 1998, the Metalwerx School is a community studio for jewelry making and metal arts located in Waltham, Massachusetts. We offer instruction on a wide range of topics for all jewelers and metalsmiths, from the novice to the professional, in our fully equipped studio.Metalwerx offers professional weekly jewelry classes and short intensive workshops with a personable feel. We offer small, personalized classes in a supportive, enthusiastic, community environment.
From Boston: The main routes out of Boston are Route 2, I93, or I90 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Each of these roads intersect with I95. If you drive on either Route 2 or I93, get on I95 south and follow the directions for "From the north." If you drive on I90, get off at Exit 15, follow directions to I95 north, and then follow directions below for "From the south."
From the north: Take I95 (also known as Route 128) south to Exit 27A, Totten Pond Road/Wyman Street. Follow the exit around to the right and merge onto Totten Pond Road. Follow Totten Pond Road about a mile and a half; Totten Pond Road ends when it intersects with Lexington Street. Take a hard right onto Bacon Street. After about a half a mile, turn right onto Guinan. Metlwerx is half way down Guinan St. on the left.
From the south:
Take I95 (also known as Route 128) north to Exit 26, toward Waltham, Route 117, and Weston. Merge right onto Route 20 east, which joins Main Street. Continue following Route 20 East and turn left on Bacon Street. Turn left on Guinan. From the west:
The main routes towards Boston from the west are Route 2 and I90 (Massachusetts Turnpike). Both of these roads intersect with I95. If you drive on Route 2, get on I95 south and follow the directions for "From the north." If you drive on I90, get off at Exit 15, follow directions to I95 north, and then follow directions below for "From the south."
