Arena School of English is a located in Dublin City Centre. We provide a very personalised and friendly school environment where every student is important and feels a part of the school. Each class level from Beginner to Advanced has a carefully planned syllabus and textbook which ensures that students get the maximum amount of practice in the four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Standard General English Morning:
Hours: 15 hours of classes per week Monday to Friday. Book for one week, one month, or longer - you decide. Levels: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. Every student takes a level placement test before they start a course so we can choose the most appropriate class for them.

Our General English courses are designed to help you improve your communication skills. They contain a large element of conversation and aim to provide students with the practical skills necessary for everyday life. Classes are fun and dynamic and all our teachers are native English speakers, fully qualified and highly experienced. Each week starts ith clear, functional learning objectives and ends with a short review to assess and consolidate the language that has been covered.

The courses cover the four main skills:
Listening
Speaking
Reading
Writing

General English 20 Hours:
20 hours of classes per week Monday to Friday . This course is specially designed for students who want or need to complete 20 hours of classes per week. The course consists of 15 hours of standard General English plus an extra 5 hours per week of mainly conversation based classes.

Levels: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. Every student takes a level placement test before they start a course so we can choose the most appropriate class for them.

General English Intensive:
30 hours of classes per week. Morning & Afternoon Classes Monday to Friday.

These classes are for students who want to attend English classes both in the morning and afternoon. The morning and afternoon classes follow a different course with a different course book and materials.

Levels: Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced. Every student takes a level placement test before they start a course so we can choose the most appropriate class for them.

Exam Preparation Courses:
At Arena School of English we are specialist in Exam Preparation Courses. We give you the best chance of success in the most important internationally recognised English Language examinations. University of Cambridge Examinations: FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

We provide Expert advice and a free level test to help you decide which exam is most suitable for you. Information on registering for your exam and we can even register for you. A comprehensive exam preparation course focusing on all sections of the exam with lots of exam paper practice and exam strategy advice. A full free practice speaking test before you take your actual speaking exam.

Business English Courses:
Emphasis on practical business language necessary for working in an English speaking environment. Flexible Class Times (please contact us to arrange a time) .

We offer specific Business English courses with an emphasis on practical business language necessary for working in an English speaking environment or where a knowledge of English is required. Here are some of the skills which our courses cover: presentations, phone calls, email/letter writing, report writing, negotiation, interviews, business vocabulary.

Individual Classes:
Personalised classes so that you can study exactly what you want. Flexible Class Times (please contact us to arrange a time). Individual classes are personalised so that you can study exactly what you want, when you want. In consultation with you we will specifically design a series of one to one classes that will focus on the area that you want to study, for example pronunciation, grammar, speaking fluency.

We will give you a needs analysis questionnaire to identify your strengths and weaknesses and then our experienced teachers will plan and prepare classes to suit your specific needs. This is a great way of quickly improving your English in a personalised and focused one to one learning environment.

End of Course Assessment and Certificate:
At the end of their course every student will receive an assessment with suggestions for future study and a Certificate stating their English level and length of course.
