We teach General English, Academic English, as well as IELTS exam preparation. In addition, we offer Business and Computing / IT courses.

AWI offers flexibility in its English classes to meet different students’ requirements.

Some students may simply wish to improve their general English skills over a period of a few weeks, while others may wish to study up to a year to achieve high scores in the IELTS examinations.

Established in 2000, AWI has more than 14 years’ experience in the New Zealand education sector. Students come from a wide variety of countries, including China, Brazil, Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Korea and Russia.

AWI’s campus is located in central Auckland. Campus facilities include a computer suite and workshop, student study areas, common rooms, kitchen and a library.

Taylors College Auckland provides specialised university preparation programs in partnership with leading universities in New Zealand. With successful completion of the Taylors Auckland Foundation Year (TAFY), you will be guaranteed entry into the University of Auckland, AUT University and Massey University. You may also apply for other universities in NZ, Australia, UK or the USA. In 2010, 85% of TAFY students were offered a tertiary place. Our university preparation courses are open to students from New Zealand and international students from around the world.

There are two study options available for Taylors Auckland Foundation Year. If you have superior grades in English and relevant subjects and want to fast track your pathway to University, you can take the Intensive (Accelerated) Program.
