Location and Facilities:
The Upper School campus in East Hampton serves both Middle and High School students. It is organized around a path through the woods, so that the daily school routine includes time outside in nature walking to and from classes, dining and other school activities, often the occasion for impromptu conversations and exchanges of ideas.
There are seven buildings on the Upper School campus, with functions ranging from academics and administration to wellness. They are surrounded by outdoor spaces for learning and reflection and trails through the surrounding oak woodlands.
Lower School:
The Lower School campus serves pre-nursery through fourth grade in a beautiful agricultural region of Bridgehampton. It includes gardens, play areas, trails and a farm with animals including a pig, goats and sheep. Separate building spaces for grade levels are customized with age-appropriate furnishings.

The Astor Learning Center (ALC), Upstate NY

Located in Rhinebeck in Upstate New York, The Astor Learning Center (ALC) is a therapeutic boarding school for boys and girls ages 5-13 with serious behavioral and emotional difficulties. Our residential programs are designed to provide a nurturing environment for children who must live away from their families while they receive treatment.Established in 1980, ALC has been named three times as a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Our students benefit from small class sizes (6-8 students) in a nurturing environment conducive to learning. We aim to help children who have often experienced failure in school to finally succeed.
In our Residential Treatment programs, we treat a wide range of behavioral and mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and fire setting behaviors.

Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from Vermont and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.
We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.
