Master Degree Programmes:
A Master's degree programme is also known in the UK as a postgraduate (taught) course and is typically studied after the successful completion of an international recognised Bachelor's degree or its academic or professional equivalent. The two most common types of Master's degrees are the Master of Arts (M.A.) and Master of Science (M.S.); these may be course-based, research-based, or (more typically) a mixture of the two.

Master degree porgrammes are available in the following subject areas:
- Art and Design
- Business
- Computing
- Construction

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.):
The University typically requires international students to have attained a Master's degree or can demonstrate that they have acquired significant independent research skills at a Bachelor's programme. As the UK PhD style of research is very self-directed and independent, international students should carefully consider if they have the required motivation and sustained dedication to produce a thesis after three or four years of independent self-driven research.

Pre-sessional English Programmes:
During your course all tuition, examinations and subject materials will be in English. In order to benefit from a course of study, you will need a good understanding of the English language.
