We provide Trinity College London-certified programs in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Our Trinity Certificate is a 4-week intensive on-site course, while our Trinity TEFL Diploma is a 12 to 24-month distance learning course with a 2-week residential module at the end of the programme.
About Our Courses:
You want to travel? You want to earn as you travel? ...then you want to teach English as a foreign language. Employers will accept your TEFL certificate on a "no quibble" basis.
This is not a weekend or taster course so you will actually be qualified at the end of your course and you will have the necessary skills and confidence to begin teaching English immediately.
Accommodation Options:
We do not guarantee to find you accommodation but we will help where possible to find you something suitable near the school.
It is very difficult in the Summer time to find accommodation in Edinburgh so if you are doing a course at this time of year it's a good idea to book some thing early.
Why choose the Trinity course over the CELTA?
Both Certificates offer a valid teaching qualification but the courses are different. We feel that the main advantage of the Trinity Certificate is that it covers all levels of teaching.
When you are here you will be required to do teaching practice with adults, young children and teenagers with different standards of English.
It is this practical experience at different levels which we feel makes the Trinity Course prepare you for teaching more effectively.

Our school is located in a quiet residential area in the West End of Edinburgh, Scotland, but is still only 10 minutes walk from the city's main shopping streets and the historic "Edinburgh Castle".
We offer a wide range of modern facilities for our students including comfortable surroundings and free wireless broadband internet.
Our staff will do everything they can to look after you and help you while you are doing your course in Edinburgh.

• St Brelade’s College is located on the British island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, approximately 20 miles off the French coast and 80 miles south of England. • We are accredited by the British Council and are a member of English UK, along with being a validated course provider of the Trinity College London Cert. TESOL.
• We have been providing English language courses for students from all parts of the world since 1978. In 1989, we ran our first four-week TESOL training course, and have continued to the present day. This is one of the two most widely recognised teaching qualifications (accepted by the British Council and most language schools).
