IALF Bali:
Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) Bali offers a range of English language teacher training programs including the Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL, to meet the varying professional development needs of both practicing teachers and trainee teachers, from Indonesia and from overseas. For New Teachers / Trainee Teachers:

- Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL:  The 4-week Cert TESOL teacher training course is conducted three time a year at IALF Bali. The Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), an internationally recognized professional ‘starter’ teaching qualification, is widely recognized by employers all over the world. 

Who is the Cert TESOL for?
If you are planning to enter the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) or TESOL then this is the course for you.  Employers all over the world recognize the Trinity Cert TESOL as one of only two internationally recognized preliminary qualifications.

The Cert TESOL is also relevant to you if you are already a practicing teacher, but want to update your teaching methodology and style and gain a formal TESOL / TEFL qualification.

Requirements:
The course is open to native speakers of English and non-native speakers of English who have reached at least 7.0 on IELTS or 550 on TOEFL or 213 computer-based TOEFL.   Selection will be made on the submission of the application form, and a pre-course task. A face-to-face or a telephone interview will be part of the selection criteria.

- IALF Teacher Training Workshops:  IALF offers a series of 1-2 day Teacher Training Workshops. If you are a new teacher or thinking about becoming a teacher, IALF Teacher Training Workshops and introductory C-CELT teacher training modules offer an insight into language teaching and give you the opportunity to try out new techniques and strategies.

* International Teacher Training Courses:
If you want a qualification that can take you all over the world, then the Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL course is the one for you. IALF Bali is an approved centre for the delivery of the Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL. 

The Cambridge ESOL ICELT (In-service Certificate in English Language Teaching) provides in-service teacher training and development for practicing English Language teachers, combining English language upgrading and teacher training in a highly practical course. It is designed primarily for non-native speaker teachers of English. The coursework and teaching are internally assessed and externally moderated by the University of Cambridge ESOL unit.

For Practicing Teachers & Lecturers:

- IALF C-CELT (Certificate in Communicative Language Teaching):  The C-CELT s a 150-hour 4-week course, which can also be run as a series of one-week modules. It includes input sessions, teaching practice - either peer teaching or with volunteer students - and tutorials.

- IALF C-CLIL (Certificate in Content and Language Integrated Learning):  The C-CLIL is a 150-hour 4-week course, which can also be run as a series of one-week modules.

- IALF Certificate in Resource Management (CRM):  The CRM is a 125-hour course, divided into a series of five individual training modules, each of five days (Monday – Friday) or 25 hours’ duration.

- Cambridge ESOL ICELT (In-Service Certificate in English Language Teaching):  This course is divided into two modules and the contact hours in total must be at least 120 hours.
If you are a practicing teacher or lecturer, the IALF in-service C-CELT, C-CLIL and CRM teacher training modules generate new ideas, give you the opportunity to try out new techniques, and provide an opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers and your tutors. They provide a chance to reflect and innovate – in a supportive environment.

The internationally recognized Cambridge ESOL ICELT provides in-service teacher training and development for practicing English Language teachers, combining English language upgrading and teacher training in a highly practical course. We also offer workshops and modules in ELT Management for those of you moving into DOS or supervisory positions.

* IALF Certificate Courses and Teacher Training Workshops:
Our in-service training courses and workshops support your professional development as a teacher, and are designed with Indonesian teachers of English in mind. Our team of experienced native speaker and Indonesian tutors are familiar with the Indonesian National Curriculum (Competency-based and KTSP), and also understand the challenges of teaching English in Indonesia at the tertiary level.

Together, they have designed modular training courses and 1-2 day workshops, which explore communicative language teaching principles, methodology and techniques that work within the Indonesian language classroom context.
