IALF Bali:
Indonesia Australia Language Foundation (IALF) Bali offers a range of English language teacher training programs including the Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL, to meet the varying professional development needs of both practicing teachers and trainee teachers, from Indonesia and from overseas. IALF Bali is centrally located in Denpasar, the capital city of Bali in Indonesia. IALF is the leading language training organisation in Indonesia. Established by the governments of Indonesia and Australia, the IALF is a non-profit organisation committed to providing high quality education and training services throughout Indonesia and the Asia Pacific region. The IALF currently trains approximately 800 full-time and 6,000 part-time students a year.

Our Mission:

For new teachers, or trainee teachers:

- Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL:  The 4-week Cert TESOL teacher training course will be conducted 3 times in 2011 at IALF Bali. The Trinity College London Certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), an internationally recognized professional ‘starter’ teaching qualification, is widely recognized by employers all over the world. 

- IALF Teacher Training Workshops:  If you are a new teacher or thinking about becoming a teacher, IALF Teacher Training Workshops and introductory C-CELT teacher training modules offer an insight into language teaching and give you the opportunity to try out new techniques.

For practicing teachers & lecturers:
The following courses are run for groups of teachers or lecturers:

- IALF C-CELT (Certificate in Communicative Language Teaching)
- IALF C-CLIL (Certificate in Content and Language Integrated Learning)
- IALF Certificate in Self Access Centre Design and Management (C-SACDM)
- Cambridge ESOL ICELT (In-Service Certificate in English Language Teaching)
- Cambridge ESOL TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test)
- ELT Management Workshops & Modules

If you are a practicing teacher or lecturer, the IALF in-service C-CELT, C-CLIL and C-SACDM teacher training modules generate new ideas, give you the opportunity to try out new techniques, and provide an opportunity to exchange ideas with other teachers and your tutors.

IALF Bali will assist you in finding suitable accommodation either near IALF or closer to one of the beach areas. There is usually plenty of cheap, guest house style accommodation available near the school - but don't expect hot water. The beach side areas (Kuta, Legian and Sanur) also offer a range of housing, some of which is still affordable if you are on a tight budget.

We will forward you a list of accommodation, outlining the facilities available. Many of our trainees book accommodation prior to arriving and then make changes if their preferences have changed or if the room is not to their liking.
