StudyCELTA: CELTA Courses Devon:
StudyCELTA provides internationally-accredited English language teacher training courses in Devon, on England's stunning south coast. Our English teacher training centre in Torbay (40 minutes west of Plymouth) has been running CELTA courses since 1996, and DELTA courses since 2005. It is based in one of Torbay's largest year-round language schools, and is close to both the sea front and the local train station.

Full-Time & Part-Time Study Options:

English Teacher Training Courses:

CELTA Certificate Course:
- Full-time (12 weeks)
- Part-time (20 weeks)
- 120-hours total coursework
- Includes 6 hours of teaching practice

DELTA Course Modules
- Module One: Understanding language, methodology and resources for teaching.
- Module Two: Developing Professional Practice
- Module Three: Focus on a specialist subject (TEYL, Business English etc.)

Accommodation:

Students who wish to arrive earlier than our course start dates can, by arrangement and subject to availability, arrive 1 or 2 days prior to the course start day, with accommodation free of charge

Torbay & Surrounding Areas:
Known as the "English Riviera", Torbay is  known for its unspoilt coastline offering some breathtaking views. Torbay comprises of a 22 mile stretch of over 20 safe beaches and secluded coves.

Torbay, as well as a popular family holiday resort, has, over recent years, become really popular with the diving community. It has many beaches suitable as places to learn and others for the more experienced diver where you can enjoy more challenging wreck diving.
