About the Delta Course Modules:
Delta is the Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. It is the most well known and the most popular advanced ESL qualification in the world and is accredited by the University of Cambridge. Most people take the Delta to advance their career to the next level.

The one month intensive Celta course provides an initial training for those new to the profession and also for those teachers with experience but with little formal training.

- Full time program
- Duration: 4-weeks

- Includes 6 hours of teaching practice

Modules / Learning Units include:
- Language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing
- Learners and teachers, and the teaching and learning context
- Language analysis and awareness

Candidates are assessed primarily in the areas of:
- Teaching practice (each lesson is given a grade)
- Written assignments

The teacher training centre was nice but if the class room was a bit bigger and if was another photocopier this would be better. The tutors were remarkable and understanding. They were supportive as well.

I think [the course] will open more opportunities for me in the work place. People should take the course if they are interested to upgrade their qualifications and skills but they should be prepared for the hard work and need to have time management also to be organised.

I wish to work in Vancouver with my CELTA, to attend work shops and professional development conventions related to teaching in Vancouver and join authentic journal teaching web sites.
