Friendly Spanish, in Clapham, South London, is a Spanish language school for adults and young people offering Spanish classes all over London. We specialise in small groups and one-to-one Spanish lessons for individuals and businesses. We pride ourselves on teaching Spanish designed for the individual, and we try to make our classes as interesting as possible. It’s important to us that you enjoy your classes, and we aim to create a relaxed environment that encourages real learning.
After eight happy years teaching Spanish as a freelance teacher in London, I decided to launch my own Spanish School in Clapham in 2006. Originally from Argentina, I also lived in Spain for eight years where I gained my teaching qualification. My current role involves managing the school and also keeping abreast of the latest teaching methods which are incorporated into classes to keep them fresh, relevant and engaging.
I feel very proud to have a fantastic team of teachers and staff working alongside me to deliver classes to students who are so eager to learn. It really gives me great satisfaction to see our students discover the beauty of the Spanish language. Our students’ success in learning is my prime concern; I make sure that I am kept informed about students’ progress in class and, from time to time, I will visit classes to see how everybody is doing. Conveniently located in the borough of Tower Hamlets in East London, The Language Class offers a range of language courses for adult learners. You can choose to learn Spanish, French, German, Italian or Russian among other languages. We offer intensive courses, weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and evening group classes. We also offer private lessons - our tutor can come to your home or office in Central London (Zones 1 / 2) or you can come to our school.The Language Class is conveniently located in the City of London, just minutes from Algate and Aldgate East Station (exit 1). The stations are served by the Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and District lines. Liverpool Street Station is just under 10 minutes walk. Other nearby landmarks are the Spitfield market, Petticoat Lane Market, Brick Lane, Whitechapel Gallery, and the Gherkin.

We have taught Spanish language to A level and GCSE level in a variety of schools throughout Surrey for the last 10 years. This proximity to academic courses guarantees first-hand knowledge and experience of teaching Spanish language to the required syllabus. We have worked for over 15 years in Adult Education as well as organising other adult Spanish-learning groups in Surrey.
