I've been seeing Ana Maria now for a year and the lessons are great. She is very engaged and helpful. The lessons are interesting and helpful and she is really informative. I would recommend without hesitation.

I have been having lessons with Ana Maria for 1 year now. She is such a lovely lady and puts you at ease immediately. Her lessons are always interesting and we cover many things in our hour together. I'm learning Spanish for pleasure and without a doubt I am progressing.
I found Ana Maria just by doing a simple online search and I am so glad I have her. She is encouraging, patient and makes the whole learning process a pleasure. In my opinion you cannot get a better teacher.

I am extremely happy with my lesson's with Ana Maria. She is an excellent teacher. She is very very friendly and her lesson's are the perfect balance of reading, writing and speaking. I have been having lesson's for almost a year now and have learnt so much in that time. Her enthusiasm really does rub off on me and makes learning easy and fun. Having one on one lessons means that I can progress at my own pace and we can talk, read or write about anything that we choose and going off topic doesn't affect anyone else. If I had a teacher like Ana Maria when I was at school I would've learnt and enjoyed learning much more. Thank you Ana Maria!

I have found my Spanish tuition to be extremely valuable in preparing for my A2s. I very much needed help with essays and speaking practise and am delighted with the progress I made with each lesson. Would definitely recommend.

I highly recommend Ana Maria as an excellent teacher. The lessons always fly by as she keeps the content varied and interesting. She is also always willing to accommodate special requests for topics I would like to cover.
Private lessons with Spanish in Surrey work well for me as I am often away and would miss too many of a regular class schedule. Ana Maria is always very accommodating with my erratic schedule.

Ana Maria has helped me with my Spanish A2 level this year. I cannot begin to explain the amount I have improved in just a few months, in particular with my speaking, all credit to Ana Maria. She is such a lovely teacher and every lesson seemed to go so quickly! Having a teacher who is actually Spanish has proved really helpful. She has built so much confidence in me and I am so grateful to her. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I would highly recommend Ana Maria to anyone who wants to learn Spanish. The lessons are varied, a bit of grammar, listening, reading and current affairs - and all taught in a relaxed way . The hour just flies by . Ana Maria doesn't just teach to her schedule but listens to our requests or problems so that the lessons are tailored to our needs.

I would highly recommend Ana Maria who as everyone else has said is a great teacher and a really lovely lady as well. She has been giving Spanish lessons to my son Jamie since March (2014) to help give him a boost for his Spanish AS exams which have just finished. Jamie was a little reluctant to have a tutor but was immediately won over by Ana Maria and has been keen to go every week since that first day.
She works him hard but clearly has the right touch for 17 year old boys as he comes out full of enthusiasm every week. He has practised both his speaking, writing and reading with Ana Maria including grammar and I am sure that extra support has really helped with both his oral and written exams.
We are both really keen for him to start again with Ana Maria in September for his A2s so I guess our plan to be a return customer says it all! Highly recommended.

I have been learning Spanish with AnaMaria for several years . I take a lesson with another lady who I met at the LEA class that Ana Maria used to teach. The lessons are thoroughly enjoyable and I never feel under pressure. I am learning for pleasureand the lessons are interesting and well balanced.

If you are serious about learning this fantastic language, then look no further than Ana Maria Roe. I simply cannot put into words what an amazing and inspirational lady she is. My husband and I decided that we wished to learn Spanish to possibly move abroad. College did not suit us as we desired one to one tuition and were aware that we were at slightly different levels (I had a basic understanding of Spanish). Childcare was also an issue. We were extremely lucky to find Ana Maria. I can honestly say, having not particularly enjoyed the experience of school / college, that I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our lessons. They flew and every week we walked out absolutely buzzing. We brought along our 5 year old boy (who was very anti learning another language for fear we would move away from his friends) and even he enjoyed the experience and picked up a few phrases and words, just by listening in the back ground. We have had to take a short break from our lessons, due to personal family issues, but already I am regretting the fact that we will not see this wonderful lady on a weekly basis. We will try to make her proud by continuing her excellent work and studying the well prepared lessons which we have covered. If you have any inkling to learn or improve on your Spanish, then you would be foolish to go elsewhere. I cannot wait to recommence in the very near future.

Ana Maria Roe taught both of my children GCSE and A level Spanish to a very high standard and with them must have had a great deal of patience and experience.
She has been teaching me Spanish for many years now and does so expertly and professionally. I feel now that I am virtually fluent in Spanish, can read and write it well and more importantly can be understood and understand telephone conversations. The lessons are always well prepared and we discuss the news, articles which Ana Maria has selected for me for homework and many other subjects during the hour long lesson I have weekly with her. I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone wishing to learn Spanish. She is a very caring, friendly and patient person. I love going to my classes.

Ana Maria Roe taught me spanish for 2 years on a one on one basis. Her method of teaching, skill, patience and confidence building took me from complete beginner to competant in both written and oral spanish. The lessons were enjoyable and always interesting, challenging but attainable and she has enabled me to proudly be able to say that I now have a second language. And most important of all is the fact that Ana maria is a very nice person who I looked forward to seeing for my lessons.

Ana Maria was a life saver, helping my son, at short notice and with little time to pick up and improve his Spanish to gain a good grade at GCSE level this year. She tailormade his lessons to cover all the areas he needed to focus on and worked with incredible patience and understanding. I cant recommend her and her classes enough.

I would recommend Spanish in Surrey for Spanish students of all abilities. The lessons are a good mix of vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking. Because the teacher is very sympathetic to the students’ needs and makes the lessons fun, the time always passes very quickly. The homework is designed to practice what we have learned in the lessons and to make us more confident about our abilities. When I'm in Spain I'm always surprised that I'm able to speak and understand a lot more than I thought – thanks to Spanish in Surrey.

I've only awarded 4 stars, because I'm not as good at Spanish as I'd hoped I'd be! But that has rather more to do with my linguistic ability (or lack of) than my teacher, who was extremely pleasant, patient and professional.

Great classes! I wanted to learn conversational Spanish and booked some lessons from Spanish In Surrey. The teacher was very friendly and competent, and my Spanish improved very quickly. I wholeheartedly recommend Spanish In Surrey and if I ever want to improve my Spanish further I know where to go!

My friendly and inspirational teacher has coaxed more Spanish out of me than I would ever have thought possible. Her conversation classes provide the opportunity to discuss a wide range of fascinating topics, and homework exercises are designed to reinforce and stretch knowledge. I am delighted with the progress I am making - these lessons are the highlight of my week.
