Located in Camerino in the beautiful Marche region of Central Italy, Scuola Dante Alighieri is a high-quality Italian language school, offering four-week Italian immersion programs to students from around the world. These Study Holidays incorporate Italian language lessons, culture classes and recreational activities. We teach Italian at six levels - from total beginner to advanced. On your first day, you will take a placement test which will determine your level of Italian. You will then be placed in the class that best suits your needs.

Italian Study Holidays:
Our Italian Study Holidays are intensive, 4-week Italian immersion programs. They comprise 100 hours of study which are divided into 80 hours of Italian language classes and 20 hours of culture lessons. Each student takes four 60-minute lessons per day, from Monday to Friday and further afternoon lessons according to the needs of the students. The courses are made up of small groups and adapted to all levels.

Added to this are recreational activities such as guided tours and excursions to some of the most beautiful cities of the Marche region and and of Italy (Rome, Florence, Perugia, Siena, Venezia etc). 

- Italian Culture Classes:
Subjects covered include: Italian History, Art, Cinema, Italian Literature, Music, Gastronomy, Folklore and Traditions. Each trip and excursion (Rome, Florence, Bologna, Rimini, the Marche Region, etc.) is presented in class to introduce the historical and artistic beauty of Italy and the habits and customs of Italians.

- Leisure Activities:
To obtain improve your Italian language skills in the shortest time and to immerse yourself fully in the Italian culture, many afternoon and evening activities are offered. Activities may include dinners with the school, recreational, cultural, sport, and cooking activities as well as guided tours and excursions.

Certificate of Attendance:
At the end of the course you will take an examination to test your level of Italian. A Certificate of Attendance will then be issued with the assessment of the degree of proficiency attained. The school has agreements with several foreign universities regarding recognition of credits obtained by the students.

Accommodation:
Accommodation is guaranteed to all students in the comfortable flats of Residence Hall "Bongiovanni". Only a 5-minute walk from our school, these flats are located in the historic centre of Camerino.
