Central Saint Martins’ Foundation Plus - Intensive Summer Programme: Exclusive to ISCA’s two-year A-level students, our Foundation Plus Course is an accelerated summer programme run by Central Saint Martins (a constituent college of the University of the Arts London - UAL). The Foundation Plus affords students the same recognition and qualification as Central Saint Martins' established Foundation Diploma in Art & Design.
This new intensive programme offers our students the rare possibility of progressing straight into a degree course at UAL, without needing to spend a full year on the standard Foundation Diploma. Our curriculum is devised and overseen by staff at UAL with active personal development encouraged through regular talks, workshops led by influential university lecturers and visits from UAL's famous alumni, including our honorary patron Jimmy Choo.
Portfolio Programme - 1 year: This one-year course is designed for international or UK students that possess the relevant qualifications needed for university but lack the body of work and required portfolio for a course within the creative arts sector. The Portfolio programme offers a selection of skills-based workshops, set projects and additional studio sessions for students to develop work in the disciplines of fine art, photography, graphics and textiles. Our unique link with UAL means our students benefit from dedicated specialist teachers, stimulating projects and artistic opportunities often associated with higher education.
Academic Enrichment Programme: Building on the arts focused syllabus, the Enrichment Programme introduces students to the rich and diverse cultural offerings of nearby London and surrounding areas. Our close proximity means visits to world famous museums, art galleries and artist studios. The visits will include exhibitions, talks and workshops as to allow students to engage with the subject matter at hand. These activities benefit from unique access to our honorary patron, Jimmy Choo, as well as other famous UAL alumni.
Social Enrichment Programme: Regular day outings allow students to enjoy quintessentially English activities such as fish and chips by the seaside, punting in Cambridge canal, watching the cricket at Lords and walks in the countryside. The school also arranges regular on-campus sporting and social activities including movie nights, games tournaments and, making use of our stunning surroundings, picnics and barbeques.
