Founded in 1886 by the Wesleyan Methodist Schools’ Association, today Kent College is an interdenominational Christian school welcoming girls of all faiths and backgrounds.

The campus comprises an elegant Victorian manor house used for offices and boarding and purpose-built modern facilities include boarding houses, sports hall, theatre, music school, language laboratories, Sixth Form Centre, an indoor heated swimming pool and new science laboratories. Excellent ICT facilities include Apple Mac suite, wireless laptops and smartboards in the majority of teaching rooms.

The current roll in the Senior School is 370 with an additional 180 girls in the Preparatory School. Day girls come from a wide area of Kent and Sussex and weekly boarders from London and the south coast. Full boarders are welcomed from all over the world and their differing cultural influences enrich the experience of all students.

Welbeck Defence Sixth Form College is a co-educational, residential sixth-form boarding college in Loughborough in Leicestershire, Central England. One of the top colleges in the country, Welbeck offers a two-year A-level education for students wishing to pursue an engineering based career in the Army, Royal Navy, Royal Air Force and MOD (Ministry of Defence) Civil Service.
