Summer Boarding Courses, Oxford:
Accredited by the British Council, Summer Boarding Courses provides high-quality summer school programmes in Oxford, England for international students ages 10-17. Working in partnership with some of Britain's leading boarding schools, our summer courses for juniors combine English language classes with activity programmes that will make an unforgettable summer! Every student can enjoy a truly international experience in fantastic locations in the South-East of England.

English Language Summer Schools in Oxford:
Our Summer Boarding Courses provide a truly international experience, with English language and activity programmes that ensure the students return home after a summer they will never forget. 

Oxford College Summer School (15-17 years)
The Oxford College Summer School offers students aged 15-17 the chance to study a more academically focussed course held at the premises of an Oxford University College. Students choose from a selection of morning Electives and afternoon seminar courses to study.

Morning Electives:
- General English
- English Literature and Creative Writing
- Business and Leadership (4 week course only)

Afternoon Seminars:
- Academic Writing 
- Global Thinking

The courses are coupled with a social programme specifically designed to allow 15-17 year olds to make the most of their time in Oxford.

Headington Oxford International Summer School  (13-16 years) - Oxford:

English Language Lessons:
Five mornings each week are spent focusing on classroom based English learning. The lessons are designed especially for multi-national classes.

Afternoon Activities:
On four afternoons per week the students take part in the multi-activity programme, there will usually be a choice of four activities each afternoon.

English Plus+:
On two afternoons per week, in place of the multi-activity programme, our students can choose to do an English Plus option. The English Plus courses are optional and are not included in the standard course price. All the English Plus courses are led by qualified professionals. The options are Horse Riding, Dance, Adventure Sports, Intensive English and Tennis.

Evening Activities:
Evening activities give the whole school the opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed, multi-national environment, whilst taking part in varied and fun activities.

London Trips:
Our students get to experience London's famous sights, ride on the London Eye and absorb the atmosphere of one of the greatest cities in the world. There is also our London Cultural Experience with a visit to the world famous Natural History Museum.

Day Trips:
All our students enjoy two excursions every week, with a mixture of cultural trips, historical visits and fun-filled attractions. In addition to the excursion programme is a weekly trip to the centre of Oxford.

SBC Oxford Summer School  (8-12 years) - Oxford:
Held at the world renowned Dragon School in the stunning and historical city of Oxford, SBC Oxford Summer School offers a truly international experience for children from all over the world and a summer they will never forget.

The English Programme:
English Language Lessons - All students receive 15 hours of lessons each week from qualified, imaginative teachers. All the classes are multinational.

The Activities Programme:
The activity programme takes place during the afternoons and evenings.

Afternoons - Afternoon activities include a mixture of:

- A weekly visit to Oxford

The Excursion Programme:
The weekly excursion programme includes full day trips to some of the UK's most famous destinations. At SBC Oxford Summer School we offer a mixture of fun-filled trips as well as visits to more cultural and historical sites.

Activies:
Activities, excursions and socialising during meals and free time allows students to practice their English.  Activities include sport, dance, drama, art, a talent show, horse riding, adventure sports or an excursion (including Oxford and London).
