The Instituto Cervantes in London is located in the centre of town in Belgravia, London Borough of Westminster near to Victoria and Sloane Square tube stations. Its history as a Spanish cultural centre goes back over sixty years. The Instituto Cervantes in London is the only official Spanish Government Language Centre, a public institution founded in 1991 to promote Spanish language teaching and knowledge of the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries throughout the world.

We offer general Spanish courses for foreigners, special courses such as conversation, business, teacher training and courses to prepare students for the DELE Diplomas. On-line Spanish courses are also available. There is a full programme of cultural events including lectures, film screenings, book launches, theatre and exhibitions. Studying Spanish at the Instituto Cervantes in London means not only learning the language but also having the opportunity to discover the cultures of the Hispanic world by attending our cultural events.

Courses / Programs
Conveniently located in the borough of Tower Hamlets in East London, The Language Class offers a range of language courses for adult learners. You can choose to learn Spanish, French, German, Italian or Russian among other languages. We offer intensive courses, weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and evening group classes. We also offer private lessons - our tutor can come to your home or office in Central London (Zones 1 / 2) or you can come to our school.

The Language Class is conveniently located in the City of London, just minutes from Algate and Aldgate East Station (exit 1). The stations are served by the Circle, Metropolitan, Hammersmith and District lines. Liverpool Street Station is just under 10 minutes walk. Other nearby landmarks are the Spitfield market, Petticoat Lane Market, Brick Lane, Whitechapel Gallery, and the Gherkin.

We employ native teachers or multilingual teachers with a very high language standard. Our teachers have graduated from leading European universities and have been trained to teach their language by us and/or other leading institutions.

Ateneo 21 is a language school that offers tailor made Spanish language programs that enable learners to improve their ability to communicate and gain an insight into the culture and society of the Spanish speaking countries. The Spanish tutor designs lessons
by drawing on a strong degree of imagination and well developed social skills. Carolina has developed study programs for specific purposes, like Spanish for Current Affairs and Preparing for your move abroad. She is currently developing a course book. She offers delegates a high degree of personal attention to ensure that they succeed and enjoy the process.

Carolina has trained clients from business (Oliver Wyman), media (The Guardian), advertising (WPP), public policy (Oceans Consulting), finance (MTS Italy), retail (Gaucho, Freggo) and film (Momentum Pictures), in this case also translating legal documents from Spanish into English.
