Summer Boarding Courses, in conjunction with leading British boarding schools, operates high quality, accredited UK summer school courses for international students in ideal locations in Bournemouth, Berkshire, Cambridge and Oxford in the South of England. Our summer boarding courses for children and teenagers provide a truly international experience in fantastic locations, with unique English language and activity programmes that ensure the students return home after an unforgettable summer. As with UK boarding students during the academic year, international students attending a summer boarding course will enjoy a huge variety of experiences inside and outside the classroom, all shared with other students from around the world.

SBC Canford International Summer School (11-15 years) - Bournemouth:
We are an English summer school for international children aged 11 to 15 years. SBC Canford Summer School, provides a safe and stimulating environment to learn English, experience life in the UK and make strong friendships whilst have a summer they will never forget.
* Morning Lessons: English lessons at Dukes International are stimulating and varied. Every student receives 15 hours of lessons each week from qualified and imaginative teachers.

All of the trips last a full day, so there is plenty of time for the students to experience everything. Such examples include Bournemouth, Thorpe Park, Oxford and Portsmouth
SBC Oxford Summer School (8-12 years) - Oxford:
SBC Oxford Summer School is held at the world renowned Dragon School in the stunning and historical city of Oxford. SBC Oxford Summer School offers a truly international experience for children from all over the world and a summer they will never forget.
* The English Programme: English Language Lessons - All students receive 15 hours of lessons each week from qualified, imaginative teachers. All the classes are multinational.

* The Excursion Programme: The weekly excursion programme includes full day trips to some of the UK's most famous destinations. At SBC Oxford Summer School we offer a mixture of fun-filled trips as well as visits to more cultural and historical sites. Examples of excursions include Oxford, Warwick castle and Legoland.

Summer Boarding Courses at Eton College offers international students, both boys and girls the opportunity to live and study at one of the world’s most famous schools. Students have the opportunity to combine academic study and the development of fundamental leadership skills.
* Morning Lessons: English lessons at Eton College. Every student receives 15 hours of lessons each week from qualified and imaginative teachers.

Students will spend an additional 10 hours a week on the leadership programme.
* Wellbeing programme: Students will spend their afternoon taking part in different wellbeing activities including sports, social and cultural activities

SBC at Wellington Summer School (13-16 years)
Wellington College was founded in 1859 by Queen Victoria as a national monument to the Duke of Wellington. The college is famous for its academic and sporting achievements and provides an inspiring setting for our summer academy students.

Oxford College Summer School (15-17 years)
The Oxford College Summer School offers students aged 15-17 the chance to study a more academically focused course held at the premises of an Oxford University College. Students choose from a selection of morning and afternoon lessons.
* Morning Lessons: English lessons at Oxford College. Every student receives 20 hours of lessons each week from qualified and imaginative teachers.

* Afternoon programme: The courses are coupled with a social programme specifically designed to support 15-17 with university preparation. Students will spend their afternoon taking part in different wellbeing activities including sports, social and cultural activities along with being able to take part in societies which the students have a say in what areas they are interested in.
* London Academic Excursion: They will begin the day with an insightful walking tour of the capital, to benefit from London’s rich culture and find out how the city has played a significant role in the history of their chosen Elective subject. Students will then participate in an academic talk or workshop that is relevant to their area of study. These afternoon workshops are designed to complement what the students have been learning at the college and encourage them to actively apply their knowledge and skills in a more practical setting. Previous examples include the British Library, Houses of Parliament and the Imperial War Museum.
* Excursions: All our students enjoy two excursions every week, with a mixture of cultural trips, historical visits and fun-filled attractions. In addition to the excursion programme is a weekly trip to the centre of Oxford. Examples of excursions include Brighton, Bristol and Bath.
Cambridge College Summer School (15-17 years)
Our Cambridge College Summer School takes place at Clare College, Cambridge University. The programme offers students the opportunity to live and study in the heart of Cambridge, providing a truly inspiring experience.
*Morning Lessons: English lessons at Cambridge College. Every student receives 20 hours of lessons each week from qualified and imaginative teachers.
