National Aviation Academy, Tampa Bay:
National Aviation Academy (NAA) has been training aviation professionals since 1932. Located in Clearwater FL (and serving the Tampa Bay area), we are one of the few schools that offer both aviation maintenance and professional pilot training programs. The primary mission of NAA is preparing students for employment in the aviation industry. Our programs are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and are taught by certificated instructors. NAA is a proud partner to the aviation industry and has produced thousands of graduates over the years.
NAA's aviation maintenance education is for students wanting an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification. Students receive qualified instruction from certificated A&P instructors who teach real world experience. NAA also offers avionics training for those who possess an A&P certification. The avionics course focuses on the electrical components and systems of an aircraft. NAA also offers pilot trainingfor individuals who wish to become professional pilots. Students entering the program will learn through ground school, simulation and flight hours.

NAA Tampa Bay has been awarded accreditation through the Council on Occupational Education (COE). Our programs are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and are taught by certificated instructors.

Our Tampa Bay campus is in Clearwater, Florida. The Tampa Bay campus has a partnership with St. Petersburg College so students can explore educational advancement opportunities. The main 32,000 square foot campus houses aviation maintenance courses, avionics technology and administrative offices.
Three additional facilities are located at the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport. These buildings feature pilot training, maintenance hangars, special program classrooms as well as some administrative offices. The St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport is home International Airport is also home to the largest and busiest Air Station for the United States Coast Guard.
