We accept children from 3 months to 5 years old into our Spanish-speaking program taught by professional native speakers.. The Montessori method is used to foster this desire to learn while providing the stimulus for academic, social and physical development.

Mis Amiguitos Spanish Montessori Nursery & Preschool's philosophy is influenced by the methodology developed by Dr. Maria Montessori who believed that if you allow a child the chance to explore and attempt tasks on their own, the result is a confident, independent and self-disciplined child.
Embracing The Montessori Method:
With our "Early immersion to Spanish" method, our students simultaneously learn Spanish and build their educational foundation using the Montessori philosophy.
The Montessori Method divides the classroom into 5 areas: Math, Language, Sensorial, Practical Life and Art/Cultural/Geography.

The New Amsterdam School offers programs inspired by Waldorf curriculum for children from birth to age seven and beyond in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Established in 2006, it began as a grassroots alliance of educators, parents and community leaders determined to bring the benefits of Waldorf education to the Lower Manhattan community in New York City. El Taller, New York

EL TALLER LATINO AMERICANO (The Latin American Workshop) is a non-profit arts and education organization in New York City. We offer year round art and music workshops for children. El Taller also has a 22-year history of being the musical home in New York for musicians from all over the Americas. Our Artistic Director Bernardo Palombo is a composer, performer and impresario who has brought some of the greatest names in American music to El Taller including: Mercedes Sosa, Philip Glass, David Byrne, Leon Gieco, Atahualpa Yupanqui and many more. At our art classes, children can enjoy engaging in different techniques and processes while exploring their own abilities and aesthetic. Different processes that are explored include painting, drawing, sculpture, collage and multimedia projects.
