The Instituto Intercultural del Caribe (IIC), founded in 1994, is the Spanish Department of the Language & Culture Institute EDASE. ALPI's Language School has been hosting university study-abroad programs since 2003, and offers a variety of travel-language study programs in the Dominican Republic. Intensive Spanish, Medical Spanish and TEFL are available. All programs include living accommodations in a Dominican homestay or private apartment. You will "live" a slice of Dominican life.Weekly social outings and activities organized by ALPI take place around the city. The island's most stunning beaches are within one hour's drive and the bustling capital is an hour and a half bus ride to the south. Guided excursions offered include a visit to surrounding mountains, waterfalls, museums, beaches, as well as historical and cultural points of interest.
Homestay living accommodations will make you a member of the host's family and include you in family get-togethers and outings. ALPI's various programs immerse participants in the culture of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Classes take place inside and outside the classroom with frequent outings. Volunteer work which is available to all will brighten the lives of the children and orphans in need, as well as offer you a learning experience you will never forget.

Spanish World Institute (SWI) is one of the most successful Spanish language schools in Colombia. Established in 2006, we offer Spanish courses to students from around the world at our school in Bogotá. • Our Spanish courses include General Spanish (15, 20 or 30 hours per week), Bildungsurlaub intensive Spanish course, Business Spanish, DELE exam preparation, One to One Spanish lessons and private online lessons.
