Spanish Camps for Kids & High School Students in Spain

International Camp Minairo:
Minairó, located at 1,700 meters in the Pyrenees near the ski resort of La Molina (100km from Barcelona), north east Spain, is a Spanish language summer & winter camp offering programs to children and teenagers aged between 8 and 16. The camps are two or three weeks long. At Minairó, not only will students engage in Spanish language training, but they will also enjoy wonderful experiences that will remain in their memory forever while forming great friendships with peers from all over the world.

Spanish Courses:
Our Spanish classes have between 8 to 12 students grouped by level and age. On the first day, students take a placement test in order to evaluate their level of Spanish and place them with others of similar ability. The courses themselves emphasize grammar, writing, vocabulary and oral expression appropriate to each level. At the end of their stay, each student receives a report evaluating their work and participation, and a folder with all their work.

At Minairó, we believe that children must face their challenges assuming and accepting all their responsabilities without excuses. Only in this way, they can grow and learn from the experience. The only act reprehensible is to give up.

Our Staff:
The staff consists of experienced leaders in every field of activity: education, workshops, performances, and the culinary arts. They are assisted by over 60 assistants, sports instructors and teachers, carefully chosen based on their experience, their education, their age and their ability to work with children. A nutritionist plans and supervises all meals taking into account the specific needs (allergies and religious observances) of the children.

The camp is located at 1,700 meters in the Pyrenees near the ski resort of La Molina, 100km from Barcelona, Spain. In the midst of a region of great natural beauty, the campers will discover a typical rural environment with amazing views of the Montserrat and the Cadí, all near the sea, Barcelona and Gaudi. The facilities include basketball courts, a football field, a golf course, workshop rooms, arcades, plus all the slopes of the ski resort with ski lifts, cable cars and slides. The rooms accommodate 4 to 8 children and are all equipped with complete bathroom with shower.
