The Spanish Class Café, in Edmonds, Washington State, is a Spanish language school offering group and private Spanish classes in the Seattle to Everett area. The Spanish Class Café vision is to provide students with excellent learning opportunities in a fun and relaxing environment. Group & Private Spanish Classes:

Level 1 Spanish:

Spanish 1 A:
This class introduces students to basic grammar concepts and allows students to apply what they learn during the conversational part of the class. Starting from the first class, students will be empowered to write their own sentences based on the grammar they learn. Students learn rules of pronunciation, present tenses, and the most important Spanish verbs. At the end of this class, students will be able to greet people, talk about themselves, understand the basics of ordering food, reserve a hotel room, and buy their own airplane ticket. Also, students will be introduced to an easy way to speak in future tense.

Spanish 1 B:
In this class, students continue to learn more basic grammar concepts and apply them during the conversational part of the class. This class reinforces the concepts learned in Spanish 1 A and introduces students to the verb "gustar", the imperative mood, prepositions, and the first compound tense. Upon completion of this class, students will be able to engage in a Spanish conversation using basic conversation skills.

Spanish 1 Conversation:
In this class, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned during the 10 weeks of Spanish 1 classes. This class will reinforce basic concepts in a practical conversational setting. It will also be a refresher class to those intermediate students who want to re-enter Spanish classes starting at Level 2.

Level 2 Spanish:

Spanish 2 A:
This class introduces students to intermediate grammar concepts and allows students to apply what they learn during the conversational part of the class. Also, this class reviews the concepts learned in Level 1. Students will write paragraphs instead of sentences; they learn how to transition from sentences to paragraphs. Students will be introduced to direct and indirect object pronouns, simple past and imperfect. At the end of this class, students will have an in-depth knowledge of the Spanish language.

Spanish 2 B:
In this class, students continue to learn intermediate grammar and are introduced to advanced grammar concepts that they will be able to apply during the conversational part of the class. Students learn irregular verbs in the simple past tense and the imperfect. Students will also be introduced to the future tense and the conditional. Upon completion of this class, students will be able to engage in a conversation class using advanced conversation skills.

Spanish 2 Conversation:
In this class, students will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned during the 10 weeks of Spanish 2 classes. This class will reinforce grammar concepts in a practical conversational setting. Afterwards, students may need to repeat this class if they do not feel ready for Creative Conversation classes.

Creative Conversation:
Creative Conversation is an ongoing conversation class for students who want to continue practicing the language. This class is designed to be repeated in order to further improve conversation skills and vocabulary and offers the opportunity to converse about different creative topics. It will include advanced language concepts. Therefore, students must have good knowledge of present tenses, the imperative mood, prepositions, direct and indirect object pronouns, simple past, imperfect, the future tense, and the conditional.
