The Ideal School:The IDEAL School is a boarding school and ESL school located in Washington State, on 20 beautiful acres in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area. The school is located abut 30 minutes from the Portland airport and is only 3 hours from Seattle, Washington (one of the options for our weekend excursions). It is a lovely country (rural) home with a beautiful view of Mt. Hood and the surrounding hills and valleys. Two creeks flow through the property, and 20 acres of trees and beautiful nature surround the school. Students live and learn in this country setting away from the noise and distractions of the city.

We have specialized programs for international student
s to learn English. Students can be as young as preschoolers and children can come with a parent, guardian, or with the whole family. Adults can also live and study at our unique school. You live on campus in a former vacation resort with a family of five--the parents are both ESL teachers. It is perfect for young children and families as well as older adults and teens who have a hard time with traditional language schools. Classes are individualized so you learn exactly what you want/need to learn.
