Children´s Day School is an independent, co-educational school for students in preschool through eighth grade. We are located at 333 Dolores Street between 16th Street and 17th Street, directly across the street from historic Mission Dolores in the Mission District of San Francisco. We are proud to serve families in San Francisco and surrounding Bay Area communities. Our school is on a beautiful 1.2-acre campus secluded in the middle of the block behind the large, yellow Notre Dame Plaza building (347 Dolores).

By wheel or foot, when facing the Notre Dame Plaza building, the sidewalk going into CDS is on the left. CDS does not have a sign on Dolores Street. Please park on the street; there is no visitor parking in our lot.

Within San Francisco, CDS is easily accessed off of Market Street by taking Dolores Street south to 16th Street. The intersection of Market and Dolores is just below the U.S. Mint, outbound approximately four blocks beyond Van Ness Avenue. The school is located on the left side of Dolores Street between 16th and 17th Streets behind the large, yellow Notre Dame Plaza building (347 Dolores). CDS does not have a sign on Dolores Street. Please park on the street; there is no visitor parking in our lot. When facing the Notre Dame Plaza, the sidewalk to CDS is on the left.

Coming From the East Bay/Bay Bridge, follow exit signs for 101 North/ Golden Gate Bridge. Stay in the middle lane and take the Duboce Avenue exit off the freeway. Go straight up the hill on Duboce Avenue and get into the left lane. Turn left on Guerrero Street, then right on 16th Street and left onto Dolores Street. The school is located on the left side of Dolores Street between 16th and 17th Streets behind the large, yellow Notre Dame Plaza building (347 Dolores). CDS does not have a sign on Dolores Street. Bay Area School of Enterprise (BASE) is a Charter Public School located on Third Street in Alameda, CA. The first youth-initiated charter high school in the country, BASE provides an environment in which youth take ownership of their own learning and change their own lives as they change the community around them.

BASE's approach to education, Enterprise Learning, is a developmental approach that integrates youth development practices, experiential education, constructivism, and traditional college preparatory learning. In an award-winning facility set on two acres in San Francisco, CA, Brandeis Hillel Day School is a non-affiliated, community school where children from diverse Jewish backgrounds create and participate in an environment of learning and support. Begun in 1963 as the Brandeis School, the school merged with the Hillel Day School in 1973. A Marin campus located in San Rafael was opened in 1978.
