Eyes on Italy is an Italian language and culture summer immersion program in Rome, Italy. It was designed to fulfill foreign university students' and young professionals needs to improve their Italian language skills and learn about the Italian culture in a more integrated, customized, and entertaining way.

All the students of Eyes on Italy will be well accommodated and have their indoor lessons in CampusX Tor Vergata. It is the student residence of the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” and the biggest university campus in Italy. It has 718 apartments, can host up to 1200 students, as well as excellent services (study rooms, coffee bar, self-service food court, auditorium, laundry room, grocery store, gym, etc.).

There are various room typologies to choose, and breakfast is included. Students can also have lunch and dinner in the food court or coffee bar inside of campus. With the shuttle bus of the Campus which runs on a scheduled timetable you can easily reach to Metro A station “Anagnina”.

How to get to Rome
By plane:
There are two main airports in Rome: Rome Fiumicino international airport and Rome Ciampino low cost airport. Both are located outside of the city, about 45 min away from the city center.
From the Rome Fiumicino international airport you may take train, shuttle bus or taxi to get to the city center.
From the Rome Ciampino airport you may take shuttle bus or taxi to get to the city center.
By train:
In Italy there two main railway companies: Trenitalia and Italo.
Rome is well connected to the main Italian cities as well as less touristy and remote places throughout the country. There are two main train stations in Rome:
- Termini Station: Central hub of public transport in Rome for both buses and Metros (A and B)
- Tiburtina Station (Metro B): 10 min away by metro from the Termini Station

How to get to CampusX Tor Vergata:
We may arrange taxi to pick you up from both airports and Termini train station with extra fees.
With the public transport:
From the airports:
- from the "Leonardo Da Vinci", Rome Fiumicino Airport (38 km): take the train or shuttle bus to Termini Train Station, then take Metro A to Anagnina, then take No.506 (from Monday to Saturday) or No. 507 (Sunday) to Via di Passolombardo.
- from the Rome Ciampino Airport (10.4 km): take the shuttle bus to Termini Train Station, then take Metro A to Anagnina, then take No.506 (from Monday to Saturday) or No. 507 (Sunday) to Via di Passolombardo. Strongly recommend taking the taxi because it's close to our Campus.
From the train stations:
- from Termini Station: take Metro A to Anagnina, then take No.506 (from Monday to Saturday) or No. 507 (Sunday) to Via di Passolombardo.
- From Termini Station: take Metro B to Termini, then take Metro A to Anagnina, then take No.506 (from Monday to Saturday) or No. 507 (Sunday) to Via di Passolombardo.

Messors Workshops - Cultural Heritage Conservation and Restoration in Italy
Courses / Programs
Messors Workshops offers 15-day summer Art Conservation Workshops on Fresco and Canvas, based in the rich cultural and historical setting of Altamura, Gravina in Puglia and Matera, in Southern Italy.  We are 27 miles southwest of Bari (airport BRI).

The Frescoes are part of the rupestrian settlements (underground habitations) located in the Alta Murgia area in the Puglia region of Italy. Private collections provide canvases.

Under tutelage of program director Tonio Creanza participants are introduced to principles and methodology for the conservation of frescoes and paintings on canvas, experiencing the process of restoration as it unfolds.

Participants will also review the completed and restored works of past projects: 17th-century wood statues, decorative paintings and stone reliefs, exterior and interior frescoes, and paintings in both private collections.
