George School: Located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA, just five miles north of Langhorne, George School is a boarding and day co-educational Quaker school for grades 9-12. It is a half hour from Princeton, New Jersey, 40 minutes from Philadelphia and 2 hours from New York City. George School is academically rigorous. Besides offering a wide variety of Advanced Placement and other interesting, challenging classes, we are one of only four U.S. boarding schools offering the International Baccalaureate Program. We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) to help international students adapt to an English-speaking system of education.
Boarding facilities are available with separate dormitory sections for boys and girls. Each of our dorms has a personality all its own. There are lots of things to do on a typical George School weekend. You will have a chance to hang out with friends, work on a group project, or even get ready for an upcoming test. You will feel safe, nurtured and challenged as you encounter new ideas, new people, new ways of life.
From the North (I-95) 1. Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to Exit 9 (New Brunswick).
2. After the toll booth, stay right and follow signs to Route 1 South.
3. Take Route 1 South toward Trenton/Princeton for about 20 miles or 30 minutes.
4. South of Princeton, New Jersey (and near the Quakerbridge and Mercer Malls) take the exit for Interstate 95 South to Pennsylvania (on the right).
5. Travel South on I-95 into Pennsylvania and take exit 49 (Newtown/Route 332).
6. At the top of the Exit 49 (Newtown/Route 332) ramp, turn right onto Route 332 West and follow it for about three miles to its intersection with Route 413, just after the shopping center on your left.
7. Turn left onto Route 413 South.
8. George School, which is marked by a large brown sign, is on the right. The main entrance to the campus is about 50 yards from the intersection.
From I-95 1. At the top of the Exit 49 (Newtown/Route 332) ramp, turn onto Route 332 West.
2. Follow Route 332 West for about three miles to its intersection with Route 413.
3. Turn left onto Route 413 South.
4. George School, which is marked by a large brown sign, is on the right. The main entrance to the campus is about 50 yards from the intersection.
From the South (I-95) 1. Take I-95 North past Philadelphia and toward Trenton.
2. Get off I-95 about 35 miles north of Philadelphia at Exit 49 (Newtown/Route 332).
3. At the top of the Exit 49 (Newtown/Route 332) ramp, turn onto Route 332 West.
4. Follow Route 332 West for about three miles to its intersection with Route 413.
5. Turn left onto Route 413 South.

From the West 1. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike east to Exit 351 (Philadelphia).
2. After the toll booth, go straight to get onto Route 1, heading north toward Morrisville.
3. Go about three miles on Route 1 North and exit right, following signs to Route 413 North and Langhorne.
4. George School is on Route 413, about three miles north of Langhorne, on the left.
From Philadelphia There is a bus service (SEPTA) from the Market East train station in Philadelphia to Newtown, which is about a mile from the campus. Trains run from Market East to Langhorne PA (about five miles south of Newtown), and it is easy to get a taxi to George School from there.
From Metropolitan Areas North or South of Philadelphia Most north and south bound trains on the east coast stop at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia and at the Amtrak station in Trenton NJ. Trenton is a 15-minute taxi ride from George School.
From Philadelphia International Airport The airport is on Interstate 95 about 35 miles south of Newtown. Private limousine or taxi service to George School is available.
