Erie First Christian Academy (EFCA) in Erie, PA, is a private, accredited day and boarding school that provides a full-time college preparatory education for young men and women from all over the world. We provide co-educational day programs for Pre-K-12th Grade students, and boarding programs for Grades 8-12. Dorm Rooms / Residential Life:
Our dorms offer a traditional residential setting. There are shared common areas for relaxation and recreation, and the buildings are staffed by full-time employees and live in families. Your dorm rooms are spacious and have private bathrooms and a shower facility for each room.
Laundry facilities are located within each dorm building and are free to the boarding students. Wireless high speed internet is available within our entire campus. Each boarding student will also have access to a local fitness center with modern weight equipment, exercise machines and swimming pools.
Located in a small northeastern city on the banks of Lake Erie, our campus provides a safe environment specifically designed to facilitate youth development. Our Dorm campus is located at Sparrow Pond, in Waterford, Pennsylvania. Waterford is a historic town located just 5 miles from the EFCA Academy.
A beautiful setting with ponds, walking trails, and many winter and summer activities within the grounds of our facility. Erie is in proximity to Cleveland, Ohio; Buffalo, New York; and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Erie International Airport / Tom Ridge Field is located five miles southwest of central Erie.

Located on a beautiful, 350-acre campus is in Saltsburg PA, 30 miles east of Pittsburgh, The Kiski School is one of the oldest all-boys college preparatory boarding schools in the United States. In a typical year, Kiski enrolls 200 students in Grades 9-12 plus a handful of post-graduate students. Our students come from many different US states and more than a dozen different countries.

The Phelps School is a private, nonsectarian boarding and day school for boys in grades six through 12. The School inhabits a beautiful 70-acre wooded campus in Pennsylvania’s historic Chester County, 25 miles outside of downtown Philadelphia. With approximately 100 students and an average class size of seven, The Phelps School offers the ideal setting for boys who thrive in a small, nurturing and structured environment. The Hill School is a co-educational boarding and day school consisting of grades 9-12 and a post-graduate year. We are located in Pottstown in Montgomery County PA, 40 miles north-west of Philadelphia. Founded in 1851, as The Family Boarding School, The Hill School provides students from across the U.S. and around the world with an outstanding liberal arts education designed to prepare them well for excellence in college, careers, and life.
We provide a challenging curriculum to Hill’s 500+ students (56% boys and 44% girls). We have a 76% / 24% boarding-to-day student ratio, and all students must board for one year. Hill students are drawn from 27 states and 20 foreign countries. The student / teacher ratio is approximately 7-1.

Located in Birmingham, Huntington County PA, the Grier School is a private boarding school for girls in Grades 7 through post-graduate year and admits girls regardless of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin. In addition to a college preparatory curriculum with AP courses and SAT and ACT college prep courses we also provide a learning skills program, an enriching arts program, an extensive athletics program, a horseriding program, a healthy lifestyle program, etiquette class, summer school, TOEFL and ESL programs.

At Grier, the dormitory areas of the building are supervised by housemothers whose sole responsibility on campus is to oversee the life in the dorms. Housemothers are mature women who have raised families themselves.

Situated in Houghton, Allegany County in western NY state, Houghton Academy is a Christian boarding and day school enrolling students in Grades 6-12. Most boarding students at Houghton Academy live in one of the two residence halls. Both dorms offer a secure, traditional residential setting. Two students most often share a room, there are shared common areas for relaxation and recreation, and the buildings are staffed by full-time employees.
An alternative to or traditional dorms is found in three Staff Houses we own close to school. These homes serve as the full-time, traditional residences of our employees families, but each house has been configured to accommodate students.
