English Language Classes in Paris for Children & Teenagers

International School La Celle Saint Cloud:
The International Section, La Celle St Cloud, in the western suburbs of Paris, provides English language tuition and enrichment programs for children ages 5-15. Our Wednesday & Saturday classes are taught entirely in English by native English speaking teachers and open to children from any school. We focus on enabling each child to achieve his or her potential in English, in tandem and in complement to their French national curriculum studies.

Primary to Lycée (High School) English Programs in Paris:

Primary Level (age 5-10) Wednesdays:
- equivalent to Years 1 - 6 (UK), Kindergarten - Fifth Grade (US)
These classes are held outside the French national educational schedule, allowing children from any school to attend. English classes are organised on Wednesdays for bilingual primary students in Grande Section, CP, CE1, CE2, CM1 and CM2.  The aim of the programme is to maintain written and spoken English at a level on a par with that of the British and American educational systems, as well as to prepare the children for the fully integrated International Section at Collège Pasteur, if their families so wish.

Primary Anglais Renforce classes (age 7-10):
- For ages 7-10, CE1 – CM2 (Can be extended depending on each year candidates)
These classes are for children who already have a limited experience of English, and who wish to increase their exposure to the language with the help of English mother-tongue teachers. Classes are held on Wednesday mornings for one and a half hours.

College Anglais Renforce classes (age 11-15):
- The course is aligned with the Council of Europe’s Common European framework for Modern Languages at level A1 and A2.
Secondary level classes are two hours long and take place on Saturday mornings.  Children from any school are welcome to attend.


Intergrated English Programs  for children attending Ecole Elementaire Pasteur and College Pasteur:

Primary Level (age 7-10 - CE2, CM1, CM2) integrated:
The International Section offers bilingual students who attend Ecole Elementaire Pasteur six hours a week of classes in English fully integrated into the French curriculum.

Secondary Level (age 11-15) integrated:
At college level (6e through 3e), the students are fully integrated into the French national school system at Collège Pasteur, allowing students to benefit from a bilingual, bicultural education. In addition to the standard French national curriculum, students have six hours a week of History, Geography, and English Language and Literature. Students also prepare for the Cambridge First Certificate Examination in 3e.
