Italian Language Programs:

- Elementary Italian I:
This course is for beginners and offers study and practice in understanding, speaking, writing, and reading Italian, along with exploration of cultural aspects of Italy.

- Elementary Italian II:
Further emphasis on the structure of the language, verbal communication, and understanding the Italian culture. Continued use of the language laboratory for further mastery of the language.

- Intermediate Italian IV:
This course provides a continuation of study and practice in understanding, speaking, writing and reading Italian. Completion of in-depth review of Italian grammar, as well as readings in history, literature, and culture of the Italian people.

- Advanced Italian I:
The emphasis of this course is on acquiring an advanced level of verbal expression in reading, conversation, and writing. Courses are aimed at expanding the student's knowledge of the Italian civilization and language through the study of grammar and literature.

- Advanced Italian II:
An advanced Italian course offering practice in understanding, speaking, writing, and reading Italian, emphasizing the culture and civilization of Italy. The course introduces literary analysis of short stories, poems and novels.
