Sacramento Italian Cultural Society:
Sacramento Italian Cultural Society is an Italian language school with two locations in Sacramento County, CA: One campus is located on 24th Street in Sacremento, and the other is on Fair Oaks Boulevard in Carmichael. We offer year-round Italian classes for all ages and levels from beginner to advanced. The Italian Cultural Society has been teaching Italian in a dynamic and friendly atmosphere for over 28 years.

Italian Language Courses:
Year-round Italian language and culture classes for all ages and levels from beginners to advanced including:

- Beginning I - Italiano Uno:
The perfect introductory class for those with very little or no knowledge of Italian. Students learn all the basics: greetings, courtesy words, pronunciation, numbers, days of the week, a lot of useful everyday vocabulary and plenty more Italian in between.

- Beginning II - Italiano Due:
Calling all former Italiano Uno students and all those who want to continue learning Italian! Students will build on the fundamentals, learn new vocabulary.

- Beginning III - Italiano Tre:
Graduates of Italiano II and students who possess the basic grammar and vocabulary skills will enjoy this interactive class. Students learn direct and indirect object pronouns and how to talk about past actions.

- Intermediate I - Italiano Quattro:
Students will increase their vocabulary to include fashion items and clothing, grammar will include reflexive verbs and more past tense verb forms. There will be opportunity to practice and improve conversational skills.

- Intermediate II - Italiano Cinque:
This class is designed for students who are at beginning intermediate level of proficiency and wish to strengthen their conversational, grammar skills.

- Intermediate III - Italiano Sei:
This class is taught primarily in Italian to increase students' conversational skills while continuing to learn new grammar and vocabulary.

- Advanced I - Italiano Sette:
This class is for students who have studied Italian and wish to reach a more proficient level. Students learn and practice the imperative tense and the use of ne and ci.

- Advanced II -Italiano Otto:
Students in this class will use Italian in the class room and continue to review and broaden their Italian grammar, vocabulary and total fluency.

- Advanced III - Italiano Nove:
This class is for students who have studied Italian and The class is taught mostly in Italian to increase students' conversational, grammatical and total language skills.

- Mixed Level Classes & Conversation & Grammar Classes:
Over the many years spent as classroom instructors we find that there are many benefits in mixing similar learning levels. We often will offer a combination class of Italiano 4-5 or Italiano 6-7.

- Italiano Dieci:
This class is for students who have studied Italian and have almost completed the Prego! Text. The class is taught mostly in Italian to increase students' conversational, grammatical and total language skills.

- Advanced Course: Corso Avanzato:
Students in this class will have completed Prego! and begin to broaden their understanding of more complex linguistic constructions, grammar, idioms and expressions.

- Superior Course: Corso Superiore:
This is our most advanced language course. In this class students have an excellent level of comprehension and speaking ability, they are also able to read and write in Italian. Corso Superiore is continuing class were students continue to master more complex linguistic constructions, grammar, idioms and expressions.

- Winter Ponte Italian Language Review Classes:
These special 4 or 5 week Ponte or Bridge classes offer students the perfect opportunity to continue learning during the quarter (November and December) break.

- Spring Italian Language Classes:
Our entire series of Italian language classes for adults, travelers and children starting the week of March 28th 2011. Continuing students are welcome to join classes at any time. The Italian language school's dedicated staff of teachers is looking forward to helping you reach your language goals.

- Summer Italian Language Review and Conversation Classes:
Students who have taken Italian and studied vocabulary and grammar need to speak Italian in teacher led group conversations to achieve fluency and attain confidence in speaking Italian.

- Italian Language Courses for Travellers:
This course will make your trip to Italy more enjoyable by preparing you with the basic conversation skills, useful vocabulary and key phrases. Students appreciate the focus on Italian culture, and customs, and the valuable travel tips and practical information which will give you the confidence to travel freely and enjoy the Italian Peninsula.

- Italian Language Classes for Children:
Our Ciao Italia (ages 6-12 years) and Ciao Piccoli (ages 2-5 years) programs offer a fun filled program which gives children the opportunity to explore Italian language and heritage through arts, crafts, singing, food, dancing, children's literature and films, and play.

- Italian Language Immersion Summer Camps:
(For ages 3-8). Each Summer the Italian Cultural Society for plans 5 weeks of summer fun! Children will love our fun filled summer camps with themes like Animals at the Zoo, Italian Art and Artists, Fairytales, The world and Geography and Italian Food and Cooking and more.
