New Covenant Christian Academy:
New Covenant Christian Academy (NCCA) is an independent Christian school for grades K-8 in Plainfield, New Jersey, serving Union County and surrounding areas. We are centrally located in the historic and beautiful First Park Baptist Church in Plainfield NJ, close to educational facilites such as the Plainfield Public Library and the YMCA. NCCA reguarly uses these offsite facilities to enhance our program. New Covenant Christian Academy offers an enriched academic program in all grades including Spanish and Computer Lab beginning in kindergarten. The school houses its own library, and uses off-site gym facilities. The school also offers dance. The school day is extended, and both before-school care and after-school child care is offered.

New Covenant Christian Academy uses curricula from A-BEKA, Bob Jones University and Christian Schools International in addition to custom curricula. Classes are teacher-led and focus on a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on projects, and frequent community-oriented field trips to ensure that all students learn. Additionally, NCCA offers instruction in Spanish Language and Music to all students. NCCA also has a dance program that is open to both boys and girls begining in 4th grade. Both before care and after care are available.

Situated on Route 571 just north of the 528 intersection, we are conveniently located in the Cassville section of town. Infants and children up to the age of six years are welcome. Meals will be served family style. Diapers are included. A children's garden is planned as well.

The morning nursery school program is led by a certified teacher between 9 am and 11.30 am. We also offer extended day childcare, available daily between 6.30 am and 6.30 pm. We provide drop-in childcare, which is available as space permits. Twenty-four hours notice is appreciated. An enrollment form must be completed in advance. There is no fee charged to register.
