With two locations in Toms River Township, Ocean County, New Jersey, Smart Start Academy offers day care for infants through to kindergarten age. Our infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs are fun and stimulating. We provide a literature-based curriculum coupled with mathematics. Smart Start Academy was founded in 2000 as a school for early childhood education. It started as a dream, became a reality, and is now celebrating a wonderfully successful past and future. We are a family owned and operated corporation with children's best interests at heart.

Our curriculum is planned within the framework of Smart Start Academy. The specific skills learned at each level of development will serve as a foundation for learning at the next level. Each classroom's lesson plans are filled with developmentally appropriate experiences. Our standards are high and our commitment is strong. Kristy, owner, is a speech language pathologist with an extensive background in American Sign Language (ASL)and Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC). She is a masters level certified Signing Time instructor in South Jersey and has been a member of the Sign2Me Presenters Network since 2006.
