Language Workshop For Children:
The Language Workshop for Children provides language instruction for young children in New York City. We provide a range of immersive summer language programs in Spanish, French, and Chinese.

Camp-Like Enrichment Program (Ages 3-9)
Learning French or Spanish Through Play is the philosophy behind our summer programs. Children remember what makes them happy so youngsters absorb French or Spanish actively through LWFC structured playgroup lessons, games, arts and crafts, baking, movement, charades, and the LWFC’s own vocabulary-building songs -- new for each summer.
Learning French or Spanish With Songs. One of the LWFC’s unique language education tools is its original vocabulary-building songs (plus some traditional ones). Songs teach word meanings, sentence basics, pronunciation and let children practice the sound of their new language.
Each student receives a CD and a full color vocabulary review workbook so they can continue practicing their songs at home. Appropriate for all Levels. Since most children are beginners, the LWFC’s summer program features introductory French or Spanish activities, lessons and games.
Languages for Tots (Ages 6 Months - 3 Years)
French, Spanish, & Chinese. Right after Memorial Day, 6M-3Y olds begin a new session 
of Languages for Tots® (45M) or Family Preschool (1-1/2 Hrs). In both immersion programs a parent or caregiver stays in class. Family Preschool expands regular Tots with traditional preschool activities such as arts and crafts, stories, motor-sensory and socialization activities, games, and more.
Languages for Children (Ages 3-9)
Children's Division students are adjusted to separation and attend class by themselves.
In Children's classes, students learn a new language in an immersion environment through exciting age-appropriate action games, visual aids, LWFC vocabulary songs, playful and educational activities and lots and lots of laughs.
Language Family Preschool (Ages 2-3½)
The first 45-minutes of Language Immersion Family Preschool offers an age appropriate Tots structured play class filled with enriching activities including arts and crafts, original LWFC vocabulary-building songs, visual aid games and more.
The second 45-minutes offers traditional Preschool activities that develop fundamental early childhood skills such as self-confidence, imagination, reasoning, listening, creativity, socialization and motor coordination. The Family Language Immersion Preschool promotes a child's general development while expanding their command of a new language.

A.C.T. is "Where the Action Is" this summer for your child on the historic Cathedral of St. John the Divine campus.ACT’s Summer Country Day Camp in the City has been providing campers with fun-filled summer activities in our spacious indoor and outdoor facilities on our 11-acre campus at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine since 1971.

Learn English in the heart of New York City in summer 2024!Based on Pine Street in Lower Manhattan, StudyAston provides junior English camps for students ages 8-17 from around the world.
Our 2, 3 and 4-week summer camps are packed with activities, and can be combined with Dance, Music, Film, or Engineering add-on classes.
Students live with a local family (homestay) or stay in nearby dormitory accommodation.
Our program operates from the renowned Pine Street school in Lower Manhattan. All Dance, Film, Music and Engineering programs are held at the school.

Located in New York State, North Country School's International Summer School (ISS) welcomes international students ages 10-14 from July 5 to August 17 for English language and American culture immersion. Two sessions, each three weeks long, offer experiential language instruction in the morning and enriching activities and excursions in the afternoon. Our experienced teachers, small class size and campus offerings provide an exceptional opportunity to improve language proficiency and experience memorable summertime activities.
ISS is designed around individual language needs within small group instruction. Summer students engage in projects and activities that require them to utilize their rapidly developing English language skills. Summer students become proficient speakers, readers and writers. We carefully balance academics and recreation to ensure that language learning is enjoyable and applicable.
North County School is located close to the village of Lake Placid, in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. Lake Placid is situated just under 5 hours by car north of NYC.
We offer two three-week sessions with quality English language classes in the mornings and activities / excursions in the afternoons.

BlueStamp Engineering (BSE) is a hands-on summer engineering program for high school students that takes place in New York City, Houston TX, and San Francisco CA. Designed by industry professionals, this 6-week program aims to to show high school students the world of engineering first-hand. Our goal is to teach how to build devices that students are passionate about and show them that creating things is a blast!Students build an individual project from concept to prototype under the supervision of an experienced engineering staff. They will complete a working prototype, full engineering documentation, and a webpage which all help showcase their abilities during college/job applications and interviews. Example projects include solar powered phones, wind turbines, advanced lighting systems, and robotics. Projects can be selected from over 100 BSE suggestions, or students can suggest their own project.
While the main focus of the program is on completing projects, it is supplemented with guest speakers, brief lectures, an entrepreneurship curriculum, and a Maker Faire exhibit where possible. These extra aspects to the program show students what a career in engineering is really like, and the diverse opportunities such a career offers.
Hills Learning is a language school that provides high-quality Mandarin Chinese classes to adults, teens and children all year-round. This summer, we are teaming up with Chess Educators to provide a unique summer camp experience for boys and girls (ages 5-12) - combine Mandarin Chinese immersion instruction with an interactive Chess program. The program takes place at Léman Manhattan Prep School, in the Financial District of NYC (close to Wall Street).Kids will participate in fun, engaging activities, and they start off the day with a morning wakeup physical activity. In the afternoon, they get engaged in playing Chess and learning fun and effective strategies. All students must sign up for 2 weeks minimum. They can also take the camp for 4 weeks and receive a discount.
Our Chinese language instruction is fun and effective. We follow a textbook designed specifically for children learning Chinese. All language skills are developed, from writing and reading, to speaking and listening. Through interactive games and activities, the students learn the basics of this incredible language.
The chess camp provides an interactive and hands-on approach for kids to learn chess. Chess camp activities include chess instruction and lessons, a chess lab which includes worksheets, problem solving, and more tactics. Kids will also participate in class tournament games with notation and clocks making the camp an exciting and rewarding experience.
All students must sign up for 2 weeks minimum. They can also take the camp for 4 weeks and receive a discount.
