The Whispering Pines Seventh-day Adventist School operated in harmony with the guidance and direction of the Office of Education, North American Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Whispering Pines School offers the course of study outlined by the New York State Education Department, as well as that outlined by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. This includes the following subjects:

Homework:
All assignments are to be completed by the student to the best of his/her ability. Work is to be completed neatly and on time. Students are responsible for making up homework missed due to absence.

Testing Program:
In accordance with the policies of Greater New York Conference and the State of New York, Whispering Pines School administers standardized tests to all students. The tests commonly used are the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills, and the New York State English Language Arts test and Mathematics test, and the NYS Science Performance and Written tests. Test results are shared in conference with parents.
