EF General Course
An ideal course for students looking to gain a sound understanding of the essential disciplines of the English Language through a well-rounded programme. 2-52 week courses available.

This carefully composed course is designed to help you move up one level of ability every six weeks. EF's general course includes 26 morning and afternoon lessons weekly, blending classroom and teacher-guided iLab self study. The focus is on communicating clearly in everyday language.

EF Intensive Course
Ideal for students wanting to learn English as quickly as possible for academic or professional reasons. 2-52 week courses available.

Our highly structured syllabus will have you speaking and writing with confidence in the minimum amount of time. EF's intensive course includes 32 morning and afternoon lessons per week, blending classroom and teacher-guided self study in the iLab.

EF Exam Preparation
TOEFL Preparation course is ideal for students planning North American university studies or preparing for a career in an international company.

Cambridge ESOL preparation courses are ideal for students with a wide range of goals from entrance to higher education or getting a job, to measuring progress.

We offer 10-12 week specialised preparation course for each exam, consisting of 32 lessons/week.

EF Cape Town is also the official test centre for TOEFL and Cambridge ESOL examinations in Cape Town. You can now prepare and take the exam at our school.

EF Academic Programmes
The EF Academic Programmes' curriculum is designed to give you fluent communication skills and an in-depth understanding of a range of academic subjects, regardless of your starting language abilities. The General or Intensive Programmes are available for both the Academic Semester or Academic year Programme.

At the beginning of the Academic Programme we concentrate on improving student's fundamental language skills. Once the functional level of ability is reached we begin to explore the academic subjects.

EF Internship
The ideal programme for students who wish to develop industry-specific language skills, build a personal network and explore their own potential while working alongside native speakers.

Minimum 8 week course with 50-100 intern hours. After 4-6 weeks on an EF Intensive English course with internship preparation sessions to cover CV or resume writing and interviewing skills, we place students in a company matching the student's interests and abilities.

Students are required to have an Upper Intermediate level of English prior to commencing the EF Internship programme.
