Trinity Christian Academy:
Located in Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida, Trinity Christian Academy was founded in 1967 to meet the academic, spiritual, physical and social needs of our students.The lower division consists of grades K3 through 6. Highly qualified and certified teachers provide a strong foundation for education, spiritually, and life skills development. Programs from Kindergarten through 12th Grade: 

Kindergarten:
Photo of Christian K-12 School in Jacksonville, FLOur kindergarten program provides a good foundation for a successful school career. We offer kindergarten three, four, and five programs. All three programs are available as half day or full day programs at the parent's option. In kindergarten, children are taught Bible lessons, phonics, reading, writing, numbers, physical education, music, art, and other activities on their level.

Elementary School:
The elementary program consists of grades one through six. Spiritual, qualified teachers make the elementary school a haven for learning. Bible is emphasized, as well as the basics of English, reading, math, science and social studies. Our program is enhanced by special opportunities in music, physical education, computers, and the elementary library. Band may begin in the fifth or sixth grade, and instruction in piano and guitar is also available.

Junior High:
The junior high program serves students in grades seven through nine. All academic classes are listed in the junior high portion of the TCA handbook and a wide range of school sports are offered. Private and group music lessons are also offered. Each student has seven classes each day and learns to accept responsibility for both school materials and schedules.

Senior High:

The senior high program encompasses the tenth through twelfth grades. The primary academic purpose of the senior high school is to prepare students for college. The honors college preparatory program is designed with scholarships in mind. Most of the students are on a college preparatory track. These students receive a core curriculum that most colleges require for admission. For students who are not planning to attend college, a business course of study is available.

Advanced Placement and Honors Courses:
Advanced Placement and Honors Courses are available in all subject areas.

College Prep Courses:

Individualized Learning Resource Center:

An Individualized Learning Center (Resource) is available to help a limited number of students in both lower and upper division who have documented learning disabilities and need assistance beyond the traditional classroom.

Fine Arts:

Trinity's award winning music program is highly recognized and respected throughout the State of Florida. Students may begin band or chorus in the fifth or sixth grades, and instruction in piano and guitar is also available. Our bands and choirs compete in several state and local competitions during the year.

Technology:
Trinity emphasizes the importance of incorporating technology in education. We have five different computer labs located on campus and technology enhanced teaching in nearly every classroom. Both of our libraries are electronically managed and we have two interactive white boards. Another helpful resource is the online educational tool, which allows students and parents to keep up with grades, manage work, and communicate easily with teachers.

Athletics:

Trinity's athletic program is one of the finest in the State of Florida. Trinity is a member of the FHSAA, and we offer 12 sports including baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track, volleyball and weight lifting - for both male and female athletes. Each year, a number of our participants are offered athletic scholarships to universities and colleges.
