Clearwater Academy International (CAI) in Clearwater in Pinellas County is a Preschool, Lower School and Upper School offering grades Pre-K through to 12. Preschool Program:
Research clearly shows that early education is one of the most important factors in determining the future success of a student. Clearwater Academy International (CAI) knows this and that is why we are one of only a few schools in Tampa Bay that offers Preschool classes. More than just "day care" the CAI Preschool curriculum gives our students the best start to their educational experience.

Elementary School (Kindergarten - 5th Grade) Programs:
Individual programming is the key to our successful elementary school; allowing each student to learn at their own pace, while ensuring the student recieves a well rounded education. The emphasis of our elementary school is the basics. These fundamentals include phonics, spelling and basic math. Each classroom does daily drilling on these subjects so that our students have a very firm grasp on the academic fundamentals that the rest of their education will be built on.

Middle School (6th - 8th Grade) Programs:
As our students get older, we continue to emphasis the basics of education. Our students become more adept at applying study technology and continue to use this with their own studies to become independent students that learn and can apply what they learn. Individual programming is used for each student, so those areas that students excel in, they can excel and also enhance the basics with subjects of their own interest. History, geography, science and literature are just a few of the subjects that are studied to build on the basics like grammar, math and writing.

Our middle school also provides opportunities to become more active in our school through our student council, drama productions, specialized clubs and overnight field trips. Interscholastics sports are also offered for these grades, flag football, volleyball and soccer are a few of our competitive sports.

High School (9th - 12th Grade) Programs:
High School can be a fantastic experience, one where basic ambitions are honed into lifelong skills. Students not only need a firm foundation with a curriculum that challenges them and prepares them for what lies ahead, but they also need direct help from both parents and school faculty to ensure they reach their goals. During their time at CAI students and parents are consulted as to the goals of the student as a part of our Goals Oriented Approach.

With this background, CAI students and parents arrive in High School with a fairly clear vision of where they are going. This sets CAI apart from most public and private schools where many students look up from their desk their senior year asking, "Ok, now what?"
