Pachamama Centre:
Immerse yourself in Italian language and culture with 1 to 4-week language vacation programs in Sicily! Situated on the slopes of Mount Etna, 15km from Catania, Pachamama Centre provides full and half-board Italian language vacation programs to participants from around the globe. Study in small groups of 2-6 participants, or enroll in an individual Italian vacation class. The centre is located on the south slope of Mt Etna between the villages of Pedara and Nicolosi, surrounded by a small vineyard and a garden/orchard providing delicious wine, fruit and veg.

Our teachers adopt dynamic and interactive methods to improve communication skills and tailor classes to meet students’ needs and proficiency.

They are all qualified, experienced, passionate and aiming at making you discovering Sicily from another point of view not only as a tourist but also from a cultural and linguistic perspective.

Interactive & Interesting Italian Lessons:
Our journey into the Italian language and culture will be both a game and a voyage of the senses. We will play games, role-play, take part in practical, creative activities, cooking, making preserves, hiking, discovering the area and other interesting activities

Become Immersed in Italian Culture:
Participants have in fact the opportunity to integrate their learning experience with thematic linguistic and social activities in the fields of art & culture, food & wine, sports & outdoors, during which they can expand their knowledge of the language in real situations, as well as take advantage of the resources of the region making what learned during the lessons, lived and understood.

Our Language Vacation courses are thought for individuals or small groups (up to 6), addressed to students as well as to “inquisitive”  travellers that want to combine a vacation with the knowledge of the daily-spoken language, the culture and the traditions of one of the most interesting regions of Italy.
