The Orchard School:The Orchard School, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is an independent, non-sectarian school for students in preschool through grade eight. Nine mothers who were committed to building an alternative elementary and middle school experience in Indianapolis founded Orchard in 1922. The genesis of Orchard came from the writings and philosophy of John Dewey and the progressive school movement of the early 1900s. Today, Orchard continues to build upon its history and tradition of providing a progressive, child-centered education that puts the child's needs first.

North Park Elementary School (NPES) was founded in 1980 to create an affordable alternative for parents who wanted to provide top quality kindergarten through to eighth grade elementary school education within the City of Chicago in Cook County. A group of founding parents in the North Park neighborhood banded together to create the fledgling school with hope, high expectations and a great deal of hard work. Given our convenient Northside location, we typically serve families on the Northside of Chicago, from Lake View, North Center, Lincoln Square, Old Irving Park and even Evanston. Scotten Talent Center for the Performing Arts provides a range of dancing classes for kids (from 18 months upward), teenagers and adults. We teach students of all ages, from beginner to advanced.
